Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"You know this is never as happy news as you might think when I never get to chow down on any of them. Let's at least agree if any of them wind up like Alvah you can kill them and I can eat them," Innocentia said with a satisfied smile, staring out at the fire by the beach, "Your work? No." Innocentia decided, stroking her chin, "It's just not a place you would choose," She decided staring out at the beach before looking beside her at Lucistic, "You?"

"I'll agree to that." Sen mused. "But I get to keep the skulls." Always a wonderful time, talking about potentially decapitation and letting your wife eat your newest kits. But not altogether surprising considering Sen and Inno. "I lit up the mansion. And then a small bit of twolegplace." She motioned to where those fires were. "We're on a roll today."
"That'll definitely make your kits behave with your murder strategy if they turn into kit abusers," Lucistic marveled briefly before turning back to the flames. He waved his paw briefly in front of his face to fan himself from the heat before taking out a ferret and using it as a wipe for his forehead, "It's a work of art really."
"You'll definitely be remembered for this, that's for sure," Innocentia said, staring up at the flames.
"Everyone else gets to burn down DayClan without consequences, we just figured it was our turn. You going to roast someone in the fire for your dinner? Seems like a good a time as any for a nice warm meal with the weather." Sen asked.
"oh! Actually there should be a cat below that might be cooked. I'm not sure though, the flames are pretty big, but I bet you can eat her once things die down," Lucistic said kindly.
"That does sound scrumptious," Innocentia purred, peering over the edge, but couldn't spot them, "I guess I'll have to take a look later, are you guys going anywhere else?"
"Eh, just resting my paws for now, but I bet we'll do something a bit closer to camp soon," Lucistic supposed.
"Oh, Glowstar's- mmm... Maybe not, I don't want to get into trouble," Innocentia decided.
"Good choice," Came Glowstar's voice.
"Heh, that's a pretty good impression of Glow that you did Luc," Innocentia giggled.
"It's not an impression," Lucistic said, staring up into one of the unharmed two-leg trees where his mother stood. Slowly moving his paw he moved the flint and steel closer to the tree wondering how much time that would save them.
Glowstar leapt down in front of them with such a ferocity that the ferrets leapt behind Lucistic's back before Glowstar could notice them.
"Looks like you finally found us. Took you longer than I thought." Sen should have been scared, but at least for the moment she was still content to cause more problems. If she was going all in, she was going all in.
"Was it just you three who started the fires?" Glowstar demanded.
"I didn't start any!" Innocentia swore.
"But you didn't bother to report them," Glowstar observed, but pushed that thought away, it wasn't like she would report her own mate either if she wasn't in a power position.
"Everyone else starts fires all the time, like even your beloved Bloody does," Lucistic mumbled.
"You two are not like them, no matter how hard you try to fit in, the warrior name, the classes, you are not equal to everyone else here. Because you might look like the rest of the clan, but you're not, you have to be gentle with them. You cannot start fires like these, you two know better," She argued, but there was a gentle plead in her voice as she tried to reason with them, while not saying everything.
"What? Are you talking about dad? Because we're dads kits we're different and have to play by different rules?" Lucistic guessed.
"Pandora and Bluejay nearly burned down the clan and you with it. This is nothing by comparison." Sen countered, not particularly seeing the problem. "Under helped Vera against DayClan too once if I recall, and he wasn't punished for it either." At least, she was pretty sure that happened, or her rper had officially gone insane.
"Sen, sweetie, I love you, but your mother is going to LOSE HER MIND AT YOU, if you keep burning down mommies clan," Glowstar said moving between terrifyingly chaotic and sickeningly sweet.
But her head snapped suddenly onto Lucistic who was already about to set another tree on fire, "LUCISTIC. DARLING. EERIE. DON'T YOU DAAAARE," Glowstar growled in a warning at him. But Lucistic was Lucistic and set the tree on fire while making full eye contact with his mother. As the sun began to fall and the forest grew darker, Glowstar's eyes too grew darker, this time to slowly brightening into green. Lucistic was knocked off the face of the cliff, plummeting to the bottom.
"IT WAS WORTH IT!" Lucistic screamed as he fell with laughter, waiting to be engulfed into the flames, followed by broken bones of the fall, but... It never came, she tossed him into the water at the bottom where he surfaced up with annoyance, "I'm okay," He muttered bitterly.
When Glowstar turned back to Senescence the sun faded behind the cliff. It was Glowstar's emerald eyes staring back at her that glowed brighter than the fires that flanked them.
"Inno, I suggest you run." Sen's voice was very, utterly calm as she set her mate down gently on the ground, blocking Glowstar from getting to her as she turned to meet her mother's gaze head on without hesitation. Her own voice was calm in it's own right, but Senescence wore a small little smile on her face that Glowstar had never seen before. Honestly, Sen wasn't sure she'd ever smiled in her mother's presence before, except that once when she was so angry after she found out what Wintrystar had done to Bluejay's kits. "You know Luc is just going to enjoy that, if not be disappointed it didn't hurt more." She mused, leaning forward slightly. "Feel free to throw me off, it's not going to help you stop the fires at all."
Actually, once she was sure Innocentia was safe, Sen dissolved into mist, whirling past Glowstar until she was behind the leader and turning back to herself. One second... two... Sen held up a paw for her mother to stop for a moment before she threw up right then and there. Always made her sick, especially with the whiplash of transforming there and back in the span of moments. "You seem speechless, going to lecture me or try to kill me? Make my day more interesting."
Glowstar let out a laugh, far too sweet for the chaos shining in her eyes, "Sorry, just funny to hear you give permission to me for throwing you off a cliff," She laughed, a brightness rising to her eyes, reflecting the flames around them with more intensity.
She whirled around in time to see Senescence reappear behind her when her daughter raised a paw to her, "What? Are you going to throw me off the cliff next?" Glowstar asked, waiting for her, but relaxed when Senescence threw up.
"You seem speechless, going to lecture me or try to kill me? Make my day more interesting."
"I'm not going to kill you, Sen, I don't even know if that's possible," Glowstar remarked but more gently now, "And would a lecture work? If I told you that I need you to be someone the clan can look to as reliable and wise or just good, just a decent person? You're my eldest daughter, you're not Bluejay or Pandora where I haven't spent the time to try and raise you. This fire is just a constant thing between us. You start trouble, I lecture you, you say whatever mom and move on while I clean up your mess because I love you... And because I was afraid that if I didn't that you would leave," She admitted, this time turning away from Senescence, as she sat down. She didn't want to know if Senescence would walk off or not, it was years of this unspoken strain between them that needed to be said aloud.
"I never had a family Senescence so this one means a lot. I want us to be a family and I wish your father was here all the time to just tell me if I'm being too harsh on you or if I'm raising you to be too... Mortal. I just know that," She rubbed her paw against the other, "I try so hard to understand you, but I don't. I guess every mom struggles with that, but... I really am- I'm sorry I hid your powers from you. And there's still more I do, I guess I just think that if I don't share it with you then you won't become it. But that's not true and I guess today I see it," She admitted, breathing out all of her anger into a frustrated sigh, but when she looked up she only had a tired expression, "I won't be mad at you when I know this is in your nature, it's my own fault that I can't accept it after all these years. But all you need to know is that I love you and I would never, ever kill you."
"And if when I turn around you're not there," She closed her eyes, feeling the tears press against her eyes, "That'll be okay," she said, but seemed to be reassuring herself if anything. Her worst fear was turning around and reliving all over again that Lucistic and Senescence were gone... And it would be her fault and her heartbreak all over again. But she turned around to see if Senescence was still there.

(5K POST! 5K POST!)
There was a dark look in Sen's gaze as the flames gave a backdrop to her scarred form, copper licking across her eyes in the moment that Glowstar turned away, and it was like pure darkness seemed to radiate from just beneath the surface of the former Proxy, deeper, darker, far more dangerous than anything Bluejay could have hoped to become. This wasn't simply the void brought on by demonic birth, no, this was the sort of black hole that only came about in the wake of a spirit broken time and time again. A creature torn down and rebuilt into a monster, a pained darkness telling a story without ever speaking a single word.
She could feel her heartbeat thumping in her ears with each word Glowstar spoke, but rather than calm her down, she simply felt and inexplicable anger rising to the surface. The russet feline wasn't entirely sure why. Maybe it was Glowstar's honesty. Maybe Sen wished, some small part of her, that Glowstar would well and truly fight her on something for once, that she would finally hit a point where she could make her mother cut her off. So she could finally stop caring. So she could pretend she didn't hurt. So that she could bury her feelings back deep down and pretend she could just go back to not caring. Cut off everyone first so that she didn't have to fear losing her mother all over again.
Maybe it was regret for her own failures as a parent that made this hatred rise, that Glowstar was the perfect everything she would never be, everything she could have been, everything that had been taken from her. Alvah, Ahava, Lorelei, Fia. The family she'd failed. Naveen, the lost child of what once was. She wondered whether her mother saw her as she was now, briefly, or as her daughter by a different name. Did it matter?
And yet Green monologued on. Apologizing for making her act mortal? Apologizing for all the thing she never told her. Sen couldn't help laughing. By the time the DayClan leader turned around Senescence was doubled over with laughter, but it wasn't the sort that brightened the air with it's noise. This was the sort of throaty laughter that reverberated in the chest and the ground, and like a plague decay swept across the earth, the grasses turned brittle and dry, and the fire began to catch against it. Death hung in the air. And yet it never touched her mother as Sen approached her, always stopping just short.
"Hey mom? Can you do me a favor?" She asked softly as she neared. There was a gentle smile on her features that looked out of place, but her eyes were dead and gone, nothing but emptiness behind them as if her soul had vacated. One step, two, and she was right before her mother.
And then Green was suddenly at the edge of the cliff.
"Go to hell."
And whether or not Sen knew Luc's fate, she threw her own mother off the face of the cliff, to fall into the very same pool of water her brother had. Whether or not she knew it was there was a mystery.
The very last thing Green would see before the she slammed into the water was Senescence at the edge of the cliff, the light of the fire behind her and smoke coiling into the air. The faint glint of tears against her cheek, though the life in her gaze was gone.
