Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Autumngossamer fluffed up her sons feather before gently guiding him out of the den. Soon he would be an apprentice, he would earn his second feather in his first hunt. He would also get to know the lands, but first, before any of that happened she wanted to give her version of a tour of their lands.
"So, becoming an apprentice, you worried?" Autumngossamer asked, her orange tabby and white body leaning down to her sons level. Mischief danced in his mothers eyes as she leaned back up, "I was thinking, I should show you the lands before you journey them with a mentor. I know them a bit differently than most DayClan cats do."

"That sounds amazing mom!"he purred with a shine in his eyes."And I have to wait another moon to become an apprentice.I can't wait!I will be the strongest and the fastest cat!"he was full of excitement. The excitement faded away suddenly."M-mom...Can I ask you something? Why do most of the cats in the clan look at me weird or ignore me?It makes me feel sad"

"Probably because you've had something in your fangs for the last two weeks, but I've been too shy to mention it," Autumngossamer said plainly before playfully nudging him in the shoulder, "I'm kidding. The real reason is a bit more complicated, you were always too young back then to explain it, but you're probably a little wiser with time since then. DayClan struggles to give birth to kits, you're really the only kit left in the nursery, in the whole clan. So people will look at you weird for it. But you're mine and they're probably looking at you with jealousy," she said with a smirk that softened into a smile, "Truth is that you're not my blood born kit. A patrol found you when you were very young and there were a few she-cats who wanted to take you in, but I scooped you up first. But being an outsider means next to nothing in this clan, over half the clan aren't from DayClan and maybe less than a quarter have DayClan blood. Even I'm an outsider, found just like you were. It's a lot to take in, so process it."
Lionkit was shocked."Wha-what....I am not a DayClan k-kit?"He was trembling."You are n-not m-my biological mom?!"a tear appeared in his eye."It can't be..."he went near his mom and formed a fluff ball."I don't care! You still are my mother!"
