Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Skipstep blinked... then blinked again. "Um... Sparklepaw. WinterClan is one of the mountain clans... with Fall, Spring and Summer." He said slowly. "Littlestar is from WinterClan."
Maybe this apprentice needed a bit more hands on education.
Nightfury raised an eyebrow at this. Even if she did pass the test, he would have wanted to push for failure just because of that. "I'm no liar." He paused. "Review your studies..."

Littlestar shook her head slightly, though she did feel bad for the apprentice "Unfortunately, I do not believe you are ready for your promotion just yet. To get ready for you next assessment, I suggest you pick a mentor who will be able to guide you into being more perceptive. Perhaps Valleyrose or Honeystorm would be able to meet your needs"
"I don't even know who those cats are," Sparklepaw sniffled. "Littlestar, maybe I should just pack my bags and leave...I'll never be a SummerClan warrior the way I am now..."
Skipstep grimaced his tail tip just barely drooping as he considered this... information.
Clearly Sparklepaw needed a great deal of assistance. Or was something wrong, his mind seemed right scrambled.
"Are you... feeling well Sparklepaw?" Skipstep asked, a note of concern in his mew. The confusion the apprentice expressed seemed beyond simple mistakes. Perhaps it was delirium brought on from being ill?
Vividcanary frowned but decided to let her father take the lead with Sparklepaw. The young apprentice was certainly ringing a few alarm bells and, like Skipstep, she was worried about his brain. Had he suffered an injury?
As the youngest Janus, Vividcanary had had the least amount of medical training, so she really had no idea what to do when Sparklepaw dropped to the ground. She looked to her mother and father with wide, worried yellow eyes, "What do we do!?"
Skipstep had been so stunned when the apprentice went unconscious it took him a moment. Then Vividcanary's voice cut through the shock and Skipstep rushed forward to the apprentice's side. "He said he felt ill this morning... When he woke up."
"Look him over, carefully!" He added to Vividcanary as he carefully shifted Sparklepaw so he could better inspect the apprentice. "We need to check him for any injuries or try to work out any sickness." He said. "Whatever affected him seemed to affect his mind, so we need to check the head for any sort of trauma."
'And hopefully this isn't some sort of problem with the mind... that's something I'm definitely not equipped with helping.' He remembered the brother of... Crowluster? Something Crow. And how he'd for the longest time remained fixated on his brother unable to move on.

Littlestar was by her mates side, checking over the apprentice "I don't see any obvious signs of injuries, but Sparklepaw is rather warm. It could easily be a fever induced illusion. Move him into the shade, and I will go and get some herbs from the ceremony springs. Vividcanary, can you go and get some moss and dip it in cool water? We need to get his temperature down"
Skipstep shifted his paw from where he'd been inspecting the back of the apprentices head to touch closer to Sparklepaw's forehead and nodded. It did feel warm there.
"Right, I'll move him." Skipstep meowed, bending down to grab the apprentice's scruff, he glanced at the other cats. "Might be less jarring if I got some help, Lacelily would you be so kind to support his hindquarters?" He asked pausing ready to pick up the young tom

Littlestar smiled at her daughter, before taking off to go and fetch the herbs that she would need. Luckily they were not far from here, and she would be able to return quickly. By the time she got back they would have been able to move the apprentice to some where cooler

Lacelily gasped as he fainted and she rushed forward behind the older cats as they inspected him. She nodded and quickly moved to support his hindquarters at Skipsteps request. "Okay, ready." Jetclaw

Littlestar returned just as the apprentice was sat down in the shade, as she began chewing up the herbs, and gently pressing them into the apprentices mouth. It would take a while for the herbs to take effect, but in the mean time she began assessing the young cat to figure out what might be causing the fever. Heat exhaustion, infection, illness, ext.
Skipstep sighed sitting down nearby now that they'd gotten Sparklepaw in the shade. "Well, this certainly took a turn." He muttered shaking his head. He hadn't expected their efforts to test Sparklepaw to end with the apprentice turning out to have been sick.
