Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Commander Shule Eerie was having a bad day. A bad week. A bad leadership. Honestly, it seemed like everything around her was a train wreck. But today, she was seeing about brokering some potential relationship with Hystericstar and FallClan. The Regime, well, the half of it that hadn't gone with her now ex-Superior Havilah, needed the allies it could get. They were kitless or practically so, and had just moved themselves in the small space between the League and the Mountain Clans, bordering Primal Instinct.
She wasn't about to tell the FallClan leader about the dramas that had been occurring, that was on a need to know basis. The mostly black she-cat simply needed to try and build relationships with someone. So here she was with her mate, waiting on FallClan's border for Hystericstar to show.
Hystericstar hadn't been born in FallClan, but at this point he had spent half of his life here, so he had heard plenty of stories about the old rivalry between FallClan and the Regime. There were still some cats in the clan that were weary of them, but it hadn't really been an issue. FallClan, under Hystericstar's leadership, rarely interacted with the other clans anymore. They had grown rather apart from even their neighbors, but it wasn't as if they didn't have their own struggles to worry about.
Lately, Aries had been kicking up a fuss in camp. Even though he was an outside, it seemed like he was trying to turn everyone against Hystericstar. It was quite loud, and the leader just wanted a moment to himself, which was exactly why he had left camp on his own. It wasn't anything odd, as he often left to gather his own herbs, but he normally went straight for the secret garden, not the borders.
Golden eyes narrowed as the hairless tom took in the sight of the Regime leader sitting on the border, but he lacked the effort to actually do anything about it other than ask, "Don't suppose you're here because Cal is hosting another party without asking me?"
Sean sat beside Commander Shule, tail curled around himself. Back when he was commander of the Regime he too had an alliance with FallClan so it felt likely that they too could have one. He was rather composed until Hystericstar mentioned Cal.
"Wait, are you for real? Because if he's possibly hosting a party without a leaders permission I am in. We're always inviting each other out to parties, us and the boys," He said with a slick, grin that could really only belong to an old, retired heart breaker like himself.
Up until Sean spoke, Hystericstar's gaze had been focused only on Shule, but it now slid to Sean as if only now noticing the tom. For a moment, he just watched as he went on about parties and boys. "I'll take that as a no, then," he finally said, though his gaze only intensified. If they didn't already know of a party, then it would seem that Cal was blameless in these visitors - at least in that aspect. The former leader could definitely still be up to something behind Hystericstar's back, but the hairless tom decided to not focus on that thought too much.
Instead, there was another question that he needed to ask. "Who are you?" His golden gaze was still locked onto Sean, leaving no doubt as to who the question was addressed to. Shule was one of the few cats outside of FallClan that the leader could recognize, as they had met a few times at gatherings, but he had no memory of who this was.

Sean didn't get a chance to respond before Shule answered for him. "He's my mate, Sean Eerie. He's the Regime's Origin Superior, and a former Commander." She stated, leaving out some of the extra details, like the Sentinel duties and otherwise, they weren't necessarily important to this interaction. "I thought he would be a helpful addition to bring. We wanted to talk about some sort of alliance with FallClan. As I remember it, you were taught by one of our previous Chamans, Viviana, correct?"
Although Hystericstar gave a nod to the answer to his question, he didn't really seem to care anymore. His attention was back on Shule, his interest piqued. In his year of being leader, this was the first time that another leader had actually come to him for an alliance. It almost felt like the other clans forgot that FallClan existed entirely, which he wasn't opposed to.
"Viviana?" he asked, brows furrowing as he tried to remember. "Ah, yes. That was her name, wasn't it? That was when I was a young kit, I'm surprised you remember." He didn't remember much about his time in the Regime - he had only been, what, four moons old when his training began - but it seemed Shule did.
