Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. Despite the separations, fires, explosions, and overall bloodshed, Zakiyyah’s father still found some way, somehow to think about his daughters love life and to find a cat that would be fit for her. Alese was hardworking and neutral enough for Sean to pair them up together. In fact, the favoritism that this was a setup date for his daughter was overly honest. The date was arranged in a moss covered field, there was a strange amount of doves flocking the branches of the grove, there was meat, clearly prepared by someone from DayClan’s region as it was professionally prepared with seasoning and toasted nicely. And of course who could forget the rose petals as those were scattered artfully across the scenery. All set up more so to find Zakiyyah’s happiness than Alese’s.

Wind drifted over the shadowy moss covered field, but nothing in sight moved. Only the overhang of leaves stirred, rustling softly all around them in their enclosed space. It felt weirdly out in the open in this field surrounded by trees, almost like they had eyes, watching them.
Well, this was strange. Honestly, Zak wasn't sure how she felt about being on a date. For that matter, what made this more awkward was the fact that Zakiyyah was, well, recently pregnant. As in she'd just found out a few days ago, and hadn't even told her family yet. It was cute though, admittedly. She sat among the petals, basking in the beauty with a small smile at her father's handiwork. It would be an interesting conversation to break her pregnancy to him, and then explain it was NOT because of this date, though he would probably realize as much quite quickly. She didn't even pay attention to if her date showed.

Alese walked slowly still recovering from his injury. He could walk but only barely...not that something such as a major injury stop him for doing what he wanted. However...he wasn't interested in dating. No one had caught his eye and no would...yup that's right. Totally right, his group needed him more than ever. Still...there was a thorn in his hide he couldn't stop thinking of. For obvious reasons like being annoying and badgering him and judging his trap making... the list could go on. Still here he was. He walked over to Zak then carefully flopped over. "Sooo uh hey. Whatcha...whatcha wanna do? Juuuust talk about the weather or discuss little things like what's your favorite color or prey? Not sure how this all works ya know?"
