Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Disclaimer: This date is totally 100% optional! But it is available to you! This date becomes canon once BOTH roleplayers reply with their characters, so even if you see one roleplayer reply you are not obligated to reply back if you do not want to! The dates also don’t have to turn romantic, you can reply and have it turn into a friendship, rivalry, etc. Date: Chaman Braelynn Kinsley [ashestoashes] & Havilah Eerie [Jadie]
Since the Regime’s home blew up when they were living underneath DayClan it had been time to seek out better destinations. However due to the quarrel Scout Superior Havilah had with Commander Shule he decided to forge his own path, leading half of the Regime to return back to the tunnels. Because of this Havilah was on his own, but luckily Sean’s impromptu date sessions were still going on. Havilah had been paired on a date with Braelynn, now it was his chance to try to get close to the healer and for the healer to get close to the scout superior, romantically or for other values.

"You two good and happy? Aw alright, you guys have fun," Sean said before walking off, leaving Chaman Braelynn and Havilah to their own devices.
Scout Superior, no, Commander Havilah sat at the arranged meeting place, looking well-groomed but somewhat hollow. Breaking away from Shule to start his own branch of the Regime had positively been draining on him, especially since his followers were primarily kits. There were so many things he had to do and no time to do them. Thus, going on this date seemed like a big waste of time, but... call him selfish, he needed the break.
His ears perked up as he saw Chaman Braelynn approaching and he got to his paws. He didn't bow his head - he considered himself the higher ranking of the two present - but he did try to give her a smile, which looked really weird on the face of a cat who was otherwise always grim.
"I was worried you wouldn't come after that stunt I pulled," Even that half-joke didn't seem natural to him, but Havilah was certainly putting forth the effort to clear the air, especially since he was sure that was on her mind, "I do hope everyone is doing well, yourself included, in whatever territory Shule lead you to next. I really, truly do."

Braelynn had been hesitant on showing up to this event but had decided it might be a worth while adventure to try. Although she found Havilah to be an arrogant tom she hadn't really disliked him in the least. She was loyal to Shule so this was going to be one awkward meeting.
She saw his attempt and decided she might as well try to be as respectful as she could be for a multidute of reasons. To her he was a wild card that could really do anything in this meeting. Although she didn't think he would cause her harm she didn't necessarily dismiss the notion it wouldn't happen especially considering where she chose to be. The chaman slightly dipped her head in respect towards him greeting him with a small smile.
"Yes everything is a bit...different right now. I do believe though that you care about your Regime- um well ex-Regime brethren. We are doing well on our side of things. I hope everyone is fairing well on your group as well." She was curious who their healer was or if they even had one to begin with. There had been a surprising amount of cats that had left that she was still trying to wrap her mind around that weren't their with them anymore. Braelynn tried to be careful on just how much information she would disclose to the traitor- no no, to the leader of the new group.
"To me, you're ex-Regime," Havilah corrected, but his voice was soft, he was trying to be nice about it, "If we could even call what Shule lead the Regime... but... Ah..."
The auburn-furred tom cut himself off and ran his paw over his ear a couple times as if trying to physical change his train of thought.
"Politics isn't a topic to discuss on a date. My idiot grandfather always said to steer clear of it... Speaking of, how is Sean doing?"
While Havilah had never gotten along with his step-grandmother, he'd always had at least a neutral relationship with his grandfather. It was enough that he worried about him even if it was only a little bit. Perhaps if he'd given himself more time to think he would have come up with a better topic for conversation but, this was the best he could do on the drop of a dime.
It would only be hours later when he was back home in his nest that he would reflect and be horribly embarrassed the the first question he asked his date was about his own grandfather.

She merely flicked her tail at the mention of being an "Ex Regime cat" but didn't say anything. She merely allowed him to continue talking before he got to the subject of his grandfather. Hmm well it did in a way steer the conversation in a different direction...only slightly.
"Well last I checked on him he seemed to be doing physically okay. No illness or any physical issues to speak of. Which coming from a medical point of view must me reassuring to hear at the very least." It's not she would say much different if he were sick...no. If Sean were sick she would be somewhat honest about the situation. Just down play it a little. Now if it had been about Shule she would not even allowed and information about her health slip. Good or bad.
"So..." Braelynn had a hard time thinking of a subject to talk about that didn't involve anything that was remotely close to RR which was hard since that was all that was happening lately. "Has uh, have you had any issues with any of the others around? Hopefully Primal Instinct hasn't been a bother. They tend to have a way of causing trouble for just every and anyone they are near." (Side note: how dare you disrespect PI Braelynn)
Havilah was about to speak up when Braelynn lead in with her 'So...,' which he was happy about at first, his mood souring the longer she spoke.
"I cannot to speak with you about the Regime's status with other groups. Please understand that this isn't because I don't want to share the information with you, I just don't want that information getting back to Shule. She'll find a way to use it against me," Havilah's voice was no-nonsense and very leader-like, not nice but also not mean.
It was back on him to change subject... again.
"The weather's been nice lately."
Ugh, really, the weather? That was his greatest enemy right now! But that was all he had at the moment, so he'd roll with it.
"There's snow in the Regime and the kits have had a lot of fun playing with it when we let them outside. It hasn't been so cold as to give anyone frostbite. I'm sure it'll get there soon enough but for now it's good fun."

"Ah snow. That sounds...interesting. Hopefully everyone is careful so no one gets a cold. Would be such a terrible time if that occured." The sentence didn't come out like she thought it would in her head. She internally cringed before trying once again to quickly change the subject. "So...Sean. Yeah he sets up these dates, huh? How, uh, how long have you known the guy? Considering I'm somewhat younger than you I haven't known the tom as long as you...possibly. Not that I'm saying your old! I just mean I'm pretty young -I mean I'm not young young just-"
Welp this was one of the most cringe worth dates to have ever happened. Havilah was not the only one awkward about these situations. Braelynn was also so focused on medicine and healing cats she rarely ever thought about herself and her needs. Ontop of the chaos going on with the Regime this was nothing more than a natural disaster. Was there a way of saving this?
"Yeah, it would be pretty awful if any of them catch a cough, since all of the Regime's healers went with Shule. I just can't deny them a chance to play - their mental health is important, too. All we can do is be careful and trust the Blind Protector."
Yeah, he probably did over-explain that. He was a little defensive and it made sense why. Out of all of his concerns, one of Havilah's biggest was that he didn't have a healer, and having it pointed out to him - by a rival healer - did hit a sore spot. This date was going downhill fast... although he couldn't help but chuckle with Braelynn started stumbling over her words.
"I've known Sean all my life," Havilah answers with a smile, the first one he'd probably given her, "And he's always been a moron... look, this... date thing, it isn't going well. So I'm going to give you two options. You can either walk away now and we leave it at that, or we can start over and pretend that our previous conversation never happened. I'll respect whatever you choose."
