Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Bravewolf hadn't seen his siblings in a few days... and he had a sinking feeling in his stomach, which led him to seek out Littlestar. She wasn't hard to find. Well, not for a god, at least. He approached her in silence, though she likely realized he was near far before he was in her sight line. The tom stopped in front of her a strange sort of look on his face. "Littlestar... where are my siblings? Tell me." She would know who he was talking about, and wouldn't be able to lie to him either. At least, not without him knowing.

Littlestar flicked one ear towards the tom "Soaringlight has decided to leave for the Regime" she answered Bravewolf honestly, there wasn't much point in lying or beating around the bush. She had assumed that he already knew this though, the two of them had been gone for days now "I can only assume Darksonata agreed to accompany her" she paused looking up from her herbs "She didn't tell you... did she?"
The silver she-cat, let her tail touch his shoulder lightly "We both know she wasn't happy here... I gave her permission to come back and see you"

Without thinking, the fiery god's paw shot out, smacking Littlestar's tail away. A moment later was the distinct scent of singed flesh crept through the air, the Priestess tailtip burned from a moment's touch. It would heal, and her tail wasn't on fire, though who knew if it would scar or if fur would grow again on it. Considering the sudden, unexpected nature of it, Bravewolf didn't even consider the implications, his eyes widening in horror as he accidentally hurt the she-cat. It was like his whole world was crashing down around him.
His family left him. He had so much pressure on him constantly to solve problems he was in over his head for. Everyone seemed waiting for him to snap back to the Sun God they remembered. Tears dripped down his cheeks like lava, his breath coming in quick gasps such that he couldn't actually speak to answer her, though the pain and hurt in his eyes was obvious. He looked more like a lost child than a god right now, abandoned by everyone and everything that ever cared about him.

Littlestar's tail snatched backwards as her fur and flesh was burned away. The pain was clearly written across her face, but she didn't back away. She didn't give in to the temptation of yelling at the the young cat for the wound he had inflicted. Instead of growing angry, her face softened, moving closer instead of father away "I know it is a lot to take in right now, Bravewolf" she paused, not quite touching him at the risk of behind burned by the powers he could not yet control
"They didn't abandon you" she tried to reassure him "They are just trying to find their own place in the world, just as you are. They will come back to you, when you need them the most. They are still your family" she could see the fury, anger, and hurt all swirling just beyond his eyes, as she tried to reach him. To pull the young cat out of the pit of despair he was falling into "I went through great lengths, to make sure you sister would be welcomed back into SunClan when the time comes. She is loyal to you, and even though she was miserable as my promised she always fulfilled her duties that she is now free of"

For every step forward she took, he retreated, eyes dialating until the color in his gaze could no longer be seen as he realized he'd hurt her, the ground beneath him smoking in response to his uncontrolled emotions. Her assurances fell on deaf ears, it did nothing but the opposite of her intentions. Littlestar could claim his sister's loyalty all she wanted, could even believe it with her whole heart, but Bravewolf knew better. Littlestar's own admission that she'd been miserable only caused the guilt to grow.
Another step back, then two, then three, and then the god outright turned and FLED, the only sign he'd ever been there the blackened pawsteps he'd left in his wake.... fiery steps that if one wasn't careful to stamp out the sparks, could start a fire so late in leaffall.

Littlestar stared at the charred grass as Bravewolf disappeared, there was nothing left but the remains of the burnt life the was once growing there. She could only hopr that giving him some time and space was what he needed in this moment....
