Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Secretmove gazed down into the water, his reflection looking back at him. He had grown into quite the handsome tom, with a charming smile that put others at ease. So why was it that he couldn't see himself the way others saw him? Instead of his smile, his eyes were immediately drawn to the scar he had received as a kit, they way the swirl of fur on the top of his head refused to stay down, the broken claw on his back foot. His imperfections. Cleaver
Luckywillow was thirsty in a land of water, and it was torturous. Everywhere he looked, there was a puddle in the bog or a thin trickling stream, but where was it safe to drink? He'd had a drink from the wrong puddle once before, and he was not eager to repeat the experience. As the cream tabby licked his dry lips he rounded the corner to see Secretmove staring down into a puddle, and he crossed the distance between them, staring at the reflection with a hunger.

Secretmove's tail swished back and forth, the raspy voice finally breaking his eye contact with the puddle "Cold?" the tom wasn't really sure what sort of answer the other cat was looking for as he pulled himself up off the ground. The weather was slowly becoming colder as leaf-bare approached and before long they wouldn't be able to even get to the water without going through the ice "I wouldn't recommend swimming in this weather"
"Right— I'm not looking for a swim, just a drink," Luckywillow assured. The water looked clear, and this close, it was too tempting to worry about sickness now. He leaned down and drank deeply.
Then he lifted his head and shook it slightly, scattering a few drops off of his whiskers, and looked over at Secretmove. "You weren't kidding about how cold it is." His throat was soothed and frozen at the same time.
