It had been a while, since the testing facility in the Janus camp had been used. The cages and instruments were covered in dust, remnants of past experiments scattered across the floor. Foxstar had used this place often enough, but the kinder hearted Littlestar had outlawed its use due to the cruelty that had taken place here. The cats whom had been tortured and killed. She traced a claw through the thick layer of dust on one of the animal cages, before turning to Sorrowfularia and placing down the herbs she had received from Aspenstar at his feet "I'm placing you over a special project" Honeystorm

A project? Call them intrigued. It wasn't every day Littlestar trusted them to do something, so they found it curious they were here of all places, and Sorrowfularia gave their mother in law a casual grin, easy and breezy, as light as their paws when they snuck away from their mate. "What kind of project? I don't think anyone has been down here in moons, why now?" They didn't seem upset, merely curious.

"NightClan is up to something" she casually picked up one of the strange berries with her paw, with some careful examination "It is poisonous, of that Aspenstar was clear" her eyes narrowed in on the Janus "We need to know the exact effects of the poison, how much of it is required to be dangerous, delivery methods, but more importantly... The antidote" she gingerly sat the berry down with the rest of them in the pile "If you need more for you studies, Valleyrose has been successful in cultivating a few of the plants, but they don't grow well here. It takes a lot of energy, but it can be done. It is important to be conservative with our supplies"
"Can't find a better place or way to grow it?" Sorrowfularia mused, tilting their head, then shrugging, lackadaisical grin widening. "Am I to find subjects on my own? Or did you have anyone in mind, hmm?" Certainly, they didn't seem to mind the idea of torture for whatever Littlestar was requesting. Then again, this was probably the most fun they had in moons, to just do what they want. And well, Silverfringe would probably be happy for any excuse they had to stick around for a while.

"Not so far, it doesn't seem to like our warmer weather unlike most other herbs" she paused, at the mention of test subjects "Start with prey... Once we see what the results are, we can move to... other subjects" She didn't want to test it on other cats, but it might be necessary. The effects a poison had on prey might be different than on cats. She had already decided, once an antidote was found she would be the first to try it... She had lives to spare, where other cats did not. She could already hear Foxsstar's voice in her ear, but it wasn't enough to change her mind.
"Get your initial results, then report back before moving on to the next stage"
