Littlestar slipped into the nest that she and Skipstep shared with one another, easing in next to his sleeping form and burying her nose into the warm fur along his neck. It was late at night, but it wasn't all that unusual for the High Priestess to stay out late these days. Even with everything going on, she could let her worries melt away when cuddled within her mate's paws. It was her safe space, and the only time she could truly rest. Her eyes closed for a moment, just taking in his sweet scent
"As much as I want to just stay here for the rest of the night, we have work to do" she whispered lightly Jetclaw
