Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
I've been debating bringing these back, so this is sort of a test to see if there is interest in it c: I meant to post these before the ceremonies but oop. Lets just pretend they're still apprentices for now c; if you don't want to participate, that's fine! it would be a lot easier if you posted on the thread saying so, just so no one is waiting for you to respond.
This trial is held for Apprentices who are ready to become Warriors. Their trial involves spending a night in the abandoned nests of the long past Cave Guards, whose spirits are said to roam the tunnels and caverns. In this Trial, the Leader shall bring the apprentices to the mouth of the Tunnels. From there, their mentors will mark them with the juice of a berry, and then give them that same berry to bring down into the tunnels with them. During their night spent inside the Tunnels, the Apprentices must mark the walls with their symbols. Once they have reached Dawn, they must all travel back together to Camp, where the Leader and the Clan will be waiting long before them to promote their newly made Warriors.
Sparrowpaw shifted awkwardly, staring into the darkness of the cave. The sun was just beginning its descent into the horizon, just barely peaking above the tree line. There wasn't much time until they needed to make their way into the tunnels, and although Hystericstar had assured them that the paths had been scouted of any dangers beforehand, the grey tabby couldn't help his worries. He had never gone into the crystal caves before, let alone deep enough to reach the old Cave Guard den. He had, however, heard plenty of ghost stories involving the place.
Hesitantly, he turned to face the others. Their mentors and Hystericstar had left shortly after marking them with separate emblems. The symbol of a sun on Sparrowpaw's forehead was still wet, but at least it didn't drip into his vision. "This should be easy, right?" he asked. "Just go down, mark a wall, and spend the night. Simple." But how would they even know when the night was over?

Promisedpaw nodded in response, a smile on his face. On his forehead sat a dark circle, representing the moon and the place from which he came. That was his past though, this was his new home. "Easy enough," he confirmed, "We'll be okay, right Shadowpaw?" he asked, nodding towards the black and white tom that stood only a tail length away. Shadowpaw sported a white crystal... or snowflake... he wasn't sure which- other than it was one of the two- where he would normally wear a flower crown. He nodded back at Promisedpaw, looking over to Sparrowpaw with a comforting look in his green eyes, "We'll be okay."
Sparrowpaw gave a small, quick nod at Promisedpaw and Shadowpaw's exchange, then turned his gaze back to the cave entrance. Taking a deep breath, he held the air in his throat for a few moments, using the action to gather his courage. By the time the breath was finally finished, he had convinced himself that everything would be fine. He was trained by the deputy, he could handle anything that was thrown at him. Though, this was a cave and not water - where a large portion of his training took place - but he would be fine.
Glancing at his sister, he gave a quick smile, then took the first steps into the tunnel, motioning with his tail for the others to follow him. "Lets go, then," he said, faking his confidence.

The two apprentices followed their denmate, the two of them silently counting steps. Shadowpaw disappeared, his inky coat blending him in with the darkness of the cave as it swallowed them up. Though he couldn't see him, Promisedpaw listened for the other's paw steps, wondering just how deep they would have to go until they would be able to leave their mark. How would anyone know if they did anyways? He wasnt sure, but he was with friends, they would be fine.
