Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The first thing the leader would sense was dull chatter complemented with the sound of a river rushing by not so far away. The smell of flowers filled the air, the species ranging from moonflowers to sacred datura to night phlox along with other night-blooming flowers. The fields of flowers stretched on for as far as the eye could see, along with small, marble structures every now and them. The flowers' dark hues were made more vibrant with the starry sky above, complete with shooting stars and comets streaking across. A larger pale white marble structure was not so far away, and cobblestone walkways extended to where she now stood. Behind the close marble structure was a huge one, complete with columns and other forms of décor. Even from far away its scale was immense.
A pale figure approached from the marble structure. The spirit dipped its head to Littlestar once it got closer. "Littlestar, it is a pleasure to meet you." While his body and spirit look quite young, his voice's timbre betrayed his age: ancient. "Please, if you'll follow me." His electric blue eyes meet hers for a moment before turning away. "I'm sure you have questions, and you are welcome to ask. What I can't answer, she will." No malice laced his voice, but there was a hint of unease. And he wasn't the only one. Other spirits eyed her with something between suspicion and contempt, but no one dared to make a comment or lash out. "I'm Roaringstar, by the way."

Littlestar was used to having strange dreams... After all she spent most nights in the temple of the sun, a place where nearly anything you could dream could become your reality. She had walked the astral plane between after lives, a dangerous landscape of all to real danger. Yet, this place was different from those she had encountered before. It was cold, but not uncomfortable. More like a soothing breeze after a hot day in the blazing sun. The pale stone under paws both strange and familiar, the feeling of spirits watching her every move.
It wasn't until the leader spoke, that she began to understand why everything here felt so familiar. She had been here once before, they day she had pleaded for the strength of both the moon and sun to put an end to the Sun God's tyranny. They day the moon goddess and the sunclan ancients used her body to slay the Sun God, taking one of her own lives as payment.
It was enough to give her pause, her warm breath visible in the night air as she exhaled "I could ask many questions, but in the end it all comes down to one. Why has the moon goddess called upon me?"
He chuckled and shrugged. "She didn't tell me... she doesn't tell us a lot of things. I'm just the escort." He turned away and beckoned for her to follow. "But I can assume she's looking to find her Voice again." He paused. "And, errrr, you're kinda of the best option out there. Anyway, let's get moving shall we? No need to keep a goddess waiting." Each pawstep released fragrant smells from the flowers beneath his paws as he made his way into the first marble building. There the whispers of each of the spirits could be heard as Littlestar passed. "Murderer." "Killer." "Ignorant."
Roaringstar's ears went back. "I'm sorry about them." His voice was just above a whisper. "Some of us understand the importance of SunClan, some of us do not. We did our best to change their minds, but you know how deep fear and prejudice runs." A giant wall came into view as they exited the outer building. The wall depicted images of lions and tigers, suns and moons, and battles and funerals. "In the end, a lot of them would never see you as worth it. But some of us do, and Selene does. None of them will hurt you though. None would dare."

The spirits could whisper all they liked, the High Priestess walked confidently past them with her head tilted upwards. Even surrounded by enemies, her stride never faltered. The fire emblazoned upon her forehead and the delicate lines of paint that wound around her body seemed less colorful here in the darkness, instead giving her an eerie unnatural glow under the light of the moon "Let them speak, the words they speak are not untrue" Remaining the picture of confidence, even she couldn't stop the small jab from cutting deeply. Their words the same as she used to torture her own thoughts
She paused, letting her paw trace over the story carved there. One that she had seen many times before, though it was not the exact same. She didn't have long to ponder it before her guide was moving on ahead. It was almost a reflection of the temple of the sun, but skewed and colder
"Perhaps, but they do not define you anymore." He stopped for a moment when she showed interest in the wall, but kept a pace to keep them moving. "You know, I think you'd enjoy hearing that story, but that's a tale for another day, right?" He waved his tail. As they climbed the set of stairs into the next structure, the size of the place became clear. Looking back, the fields of flowers stretched on for as far as the eye could see, and another two rivers came into view on either side of the temple. One looked rather murky, and the other quite similar to the river where they came from.
Two kittens scampered by right underneath their paws kitten scampered beneath their paws right as the enter the next building. Inside it was certainly bigger than it appeared from the outside. The hall was big enough to hold hundreds upon hundreds of cats. It stretched on for a ways on either end, but thankfully the width was not nearly as large. As they walked through Roaringstar had a new pep in his step. "This is one of our Grand Halls, by the way. Obviously, it's the best one." He looked up to the ceiling and sighed. "Not to brag, but if you take a look up there you can see your best memories play out in front you... among the stars and shooting stars of course." He gave her a quick nudge. "'Bet you don't have anything like this where you come from, eh?"
As they exited the Grand Hall into a small garden, another building came into view. However, this one was a ring that wrapped around something shrouded in fog. The ringed building was surrounded by a moat of murky water. Three ice bridges connected them, each opposite the exit of a Grand Hall. He stopped at the bridge. "You... should be fine to cross. But take it slowly, and check if the ice cracks if you step on it."

She followed along, simply taking in the sights of the strange structure around them. Looking down at the kits, and then upwards at the ceiling Roaringstar spoke of. The stars glimmered overheard, her own memories being played out amongst the stars. Being reunited with Skipstep after her torture, the long night spent cuddled around her little ones purring, playing with her mate amongst the sunflowers. It did bring a little smile to her face, and her paws to a stop. Only continuing onwards at the nudge of her guide "Actually, we have something similar. Only dreams, not memories"
Littlestar continued onward as the arrived at the bridge, ice expanding upwards over the water. It was crystal clear, so thin and pure that you could see the waves of the water below. Her instincts screamed that the ice was to thin to cross, that it wouldn't hold her weight. Long repressed memories of falling through the ice into the swallowing river giving her pause. It was the first time she had faltered since entering into where ever this place was.
After living so many eons, her pause was easily enough to catch his eyes. He took a few steps onto the bridge itself. He was certainly bigger, and held him without any cracking or anything. "You'll be swept downstream into one of the rivers. You wouldn't die here, if that's what you were wondering. It's meant to keep cats out who aren't supposed to go further." He paused. "You should be fine because Selene herself did call you here, but you never know. Your... SunClaniness could maybe make it crack, but I doubt it would break." He looked away and finished crossing the bridge.
As he crossed, a kitten who could have been no older than a quarter moon tapped Littlestar's leg. She still had her kitten-blue eyes and random tufts of fur sticking up all over the place. "It's not that scary, I promise!" Me and my littermates sometimes jump in for fun! My mom doesn't like it... but it's not bad!"

It was wrong. No cat should be able to walk across the thin ice hovering above the water, and yet both Roaringstar and the kits crossed over effortlessly. Why was it that she could walk head first into towering flames without fear, and yet this is was wear she drew the line. What the ghostly leader said made sense, it was the Moon Goddess' own version of the eternal flame The Temple of The Sun used to keep away those whom were unwelcomed.
"Want to walk with me?" she asked the young kit kindly, offering it a small smile. Her senses reeled as she placed her first paw onto the old iced surface. She had to fight her instincts to jerk her paw away, and remain firmly on the ground. She forced another paw onto the path, then another until she stood upon the crystalline surface
The kitten smiled and nodded. "Of course I'll walk with you! You'll just owe one. Or two. Maybe a little more!" She walked right underneath Littlestar as she took her time to get one the bridge. Once she did, the kitten practically jumped up and down. "See! See! It's not that bad! You can even jump up and down like this and it won't----" Then he shut up. The creaked under their weight, but there were no cracks or breaks in the ice. The surface was just as pure as it was before.
"You'll be fine." Roaringstar called out from the other side. "It would have broken by now if it was going to." He padded back onto the bridge to stand at her side. "I see how much this is troubling you... no one's died here. They've been shaken up and that kind of stuff, but you're safe."

"There is always time for a first" she murmmered, finally letting out the breath she had been holding. Finally she stepped fully onto the bridge with the kit between her paws as she made her way upwards. Trying not to look down to the churrning water below before arriving at the other side.
Perhaps Roaringstar was just a little too detached from his life to truly understand the pain and apprehensiveness that Littlestar was going through. He just flicked his ears and waited for the duo to make their way across with only a little bit of annoyance creeping into his gaze. On the other hand the kit was constant chirping encouragements to Littlestar, ranging from little chirps to motivational lines. "C'mon, if you made it out this far, it's not gonna break!"
A pale she-cat made her way out from the structures beyond the other cats. As she past they bowed, or at least mewed their respects. The she-cat settled right next to Roaringstar, and purred ever so slightly. "Littlebird, or I guess Littlestar, if we respect what my idiot brother says."
