Lionpride woke up and yawned. he was feeling very sleepy this morning. After talking to the clan and doing the morning prayer, he left the camp and called for Slipperyslope to join him.
Slipperyslope raced over with an excited yip. “I’M READY,” he called, but he wasn’t paying attention and stepped on Lionpride, cracking his spine into four pieces.
Aconite smiled at him. “I love you,” she told him sincerely. However, Lionpride was the last cat on earth to remember her. With him dead, she rapidly faded away and was gone.
