Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Tinypaw had gotten lost. That wasn't anything out of the ordinary, but she had somehow managed to completely leave FallClan territory and wound up in SpringClan - which was especially odd since the two clans didn't actually share an official border. The small apprentice had no excuse for how she had ended up here, but she was tired after walking for so long.
It took her a little while to find a place to hide to regain her breath, but eventually she found a small hole under a tree, surrounded in rocks. Tinypaw fit in the hole almost perfectly, and it was rather comfortable - which led to a problem. As a cat had passed by her tree, she found herself drifting asleep. She needed something to do to stay awake. Peeking her head out to make sure the cat had left, Tinypaw slithered her way out of the tree and began stacking the rocks around the tree.
If the cat were to return, maybe she would be fast enough to sneak back into her hole before they could catch her in the action. If so, they would probably get confused over the rocks, since they weren't stacked when they walked past the first time.
(not sure how this'll work so just gonna see) Softpelt had taken to assisting Sakurablossom with gusto, but that was unsurprising she after all had first hand experience from being a former medicine cat and former medicine cat apprentice herself.
She was headed in the direction of where Tinypaw was the white she cat having passed the area earlier but getting the strangest sense she was forgetting something. As she neared the spot she saw some marigold and bent down to pick them up before continuing on.
Tinypaw had almost missed the soft crunch of the grass, but the quiet sound had alerted her. She had just finished reorganizing the rocks, and had just enough time to dash back into her hole. She had just enough time to take a peek - yes! There was someone coming. Ducking her head down, she curled up, making her tiny body invisible, but ensuring that she could still get a slight view. The changing of the rocks would be enough to make her confused, but would it work on someone else? She wasn't sure.
Softpelt made her way over humming a tune, before pausing coming to a stop when she saw the rocks all stacked up.
She set down her leaf bundle and took a moment just looking at them.
"Were they..." The white she cat hesitated a paw under her chin as she squinted at the rocks. "I don't recall them being stacked like that... but now they are..."
She treaded closer, the fluffy white she cat shaking herself trying to make sense of it. Could she be going crazy? Old age caught up to her?
Or perhaps this was a sign of sorts from StarClan.
So pausing she lifted her head to look up at the still light sky. "StarClan is that you?" She asked, if it was a sign from them... she didn't have the foggiest idea what it could mean.
Tinypaw, truthfully, hadn't expected the rocks to have confused anyone. Sure, she would have been, but she's also a bit of a mess. So, when she watched as Softpelt inspected the rocks, she was surprised. Biting back her giggles, all she could do was keep watching Softpelt talk to StarClan. The idea hit her for just a moment that she could say something, pretend to be an answer from StarClan, but she wasn't the eloquent type. StarClan was far too mysterious and cryptic, so there was no way that the small apprentice would be able to match it.
However, it seemed she didn't have to do anything. By pure chance, a sparrow flew by, dropping low enough to snatch a rock off of a stack.
