Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
There will be two parts to this. We'll time skip in this thread or if we feel it's gotten too long, we'll go ahead and make a second thread. The day of celebration is on halloween technically, but we're taking all of this week for the role play in case anyone has plans for that night of nights before and wish to participate. The idea behind this thread is a celebration of the dead, and there will be fun involved! Feel free to join in whenever you get the chance! If it helps you can think of this a little like Scary Godmother or Coco if that helps explain things or set the mood for you.
There are three positions you can join in on. Scarier, Victim, or Investigator. There's a fourth role as well, but it's the ghosts of those who are dead. So feel free to toss in any passed deceased cats that have died on WinterClan land, this even includes the recent deaths of Regime or DayClan cats!
The first group, the Scariers are a group of cats that are purposely scaring people and acting like ghosts. The second is the Victims, who are those who are unfortunate enough to have been scared or pranks. And lastly, we have the Investigators who are trying to figure out who the scariers are and put a stop to them for the show must go on!
Plot: Now the students and youths have set up a haunted house and are putting it on to scare everyone else for some good ol' fun, but something eerie is going on with it. Are there mean-spirited ghosts? Or just some adults teasing everyone? Have you been one of the ones startled by these ghosts or mean cats? Or are you one of the ones trying to solve the mystery of what's happening? Or are you someone capitalizing on the chaos and making it worse even though you are not the original chaos source?
The final festival of the year has arrived, The Festival of the Stars. Seasons have passed, cats have grown, and a war has ended. While the battle with DayClan and the Regime is over, the results of it are still there. The cats have had to change their ways some, learn to treat the demon children and their mother Blazingbluejay better than ever before, and to be better and kinder cats in general. Some were struggling with that and others had made the switch easily. But that wasn't the only change from the war either. Lives had been lost in the war and the festival to celebrate all lost lives had come around. The Festival of the Stars is a day to honor those who have passed and to remember their lives and stories. An honorable day with a somber ending for some who were still mourning.
This year, the youths and students had been tasked with putting on a show, a haunted house. Many cats had helped with the set up down at the burial grounds and finally, the day was coming up. A haunted path had been carved through the burial grounds, certain spots were marked by the students and youths to jump out and scare the rest of the clan. It was a proud sight to see, looking around at all their hard work finally coming together. They'd been helped by a few adults, especially in supervising the youths who'd been allowed out of camp for the activity, but the majority of the work and planning had been done by the youngest cats of the clan. And it was nice to have something fun to look forward to even on a day of remembrance like the festival was.
Prayers, offerings, and more would be done during the day, but at sundown, the fun would start. A party to remember the fallen, a haunted house for fun, and all held under the sight of the northern lights. It was going to be great.
But there was a problem. Something had been messing with the haunted house setup. Who was it? Or what was it? Things were coming up damaged and broken, other things were completely missing, and some cats even said they were seeing things. Ghost, spirits, maybe even a zombie. Rumors were flying around with all kinds of different ideas about what it could be that was wreaking havoc on their fun plans. A few cats had banned together to find out what exactly was happening and to put a stop to it! Would they find the answer before the festival, or would it all come down to the wire and ruin the celebration?
