Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
PLEASE READ IF YOU'VE BEEN PINGED: This is a family reunion rp. I'll ping you and your character to what I want you to reply to so you don't need to read everything if you don't feel like it. Just find where you're pinged! Also you can include ANY character related to Glow & Sean even if they're not mentioned! ^-^
Every season, as tradition went the Eerie family with the closest relationship to Glowstar and Sean would meet together for a small family reunion. A promise Glowstar and Sean had made to each other in order to force themselves to stay in touch. As such everyone in their family was invited to join them, this time the gathering would take place on DayClan's soil. Glowstar had chosen Hidden Pond, a closed in area with a skylight and you guessed it, a small pond in the center with multiple tiny waterfalls running through.
fox (Eshek) Normally Lucistic was up close to the action, but this time he was withdrawn. He leaned into the wall as though hoping he would phase through it, given his element he probably was considering it. Since Gravel's death he felt guilted by the aspect of moving on and having any amount of fun or enjoyment. He stayed careful to avoid any pleasurable pain, remained inside camp, barely moved. Gravel was... Grounded, she was someone who lived a true warriors life. He could never give her a normal mate in life, but in death he wanted to respectfully mourn her the way any normal cat would. Unordinary though he had invite Eshek along who he labeled to be his, "Emotional Support Cat," which wasn't exactly wrong.
Jadie (Viatrix) Innocentia cuddled into her daughter Viatrix, lovingly nuzzling her precious little head. She really could have made such a lovely snack, especially when she didn't get the reaction she wanted out of Misty by taking her away. But hey, she was a pretty cute lil daughter. Innocentia gently fluffed up Viatrix's bow wanting her to look presentable with so many eyes on them.
pao (Wintrystar), stardance (Soullessabomination) Howlingnight's family arrived late with a look of, We're-Here-Now-What?
Howlingnight caught a few stares before begrudgingly moving to the pack to drag Bluejay to the front of the crowd a tad aggressively, but not in an effort to be. "Yeah, I brought her, I know the deal."
pLuto (Snakefang), racer (Dirtydivinity) Bluejay hissed at being dragged and immediately stood up to look for a familiar face, maybe even one of her kits.
Jadie (Reapingnight), pao (Pomegranatedecay), Cleaver (Deathreign), racer (Eclipsinghowl), uniqcrim (Ghastlygaze) Sludgemilk sank into the crowd of her siblings. There was no way to describe her emotional state as anything more than soul shattering. She had lose petals in her fur from her wedding and while her stomach was thin it was clear from the scent of milk on her that she recently had a litter, yet she wasn't brimming with any amount of joy, only a hollow sorrow, like she couldn't even remember what she was sad about. Which may have been true, her gaze was hazy and strung in her fur were a few crystals to keep her mood in check.
Honeystorm (Florian) Jadie (Yuccablossom) Zephyrglade searched for Yuccablossom, he had been spending some time in the Regime to look for Florian, but now couldn't help, but worry just a LITTLE if his sister was offended that he left without notice. That he meant to, more like forgot he had someone who actually cared about him in his life and just went off to do whatever since that was what he was used to.
Honeystorm (Bravewolf) Jadie (Soaringlight), racer (Darksonota) Blindfaith lounged across the top of the waterfall, staying clear from the cold water, but lying on the frosty rocks. Probably to get away from the crowd like the rest of her litter preferred, unfortunately Kotori made his way up to her.
"Have you seen Soaring?" Kotori asked.
"No," Blindfaith said in a monotone voice, gazing at anything except Kotori.
"Well let me know," Kotori said, but Blindfaith didn't reply back, this was supposed to be a vacation, or at least that's how she chose to use this family reunion time.
Honeystorm (Foxstar, Commander Shule) Seated up at the front were Glowstar and Foxstar and Commander Shule and Sean with Dusky close by below Shule, playing as a guard for his mother.
"I guess the Regime really doesn't believe in romance much given how many more generations my side has," Glowstar observed out loud.
"Nope, that was my bad for killing so many, sorry about that!" Kotori called.
"Well, I am jealous about the fact that you raise such honest children," Glowstar admitted with a shrug like Kotori's answer wasn't all that startling and considering their family it wasn't too abnormal.
Eshek had never seen this many Eeries in one place, and frankly she felt like she was intruding, like she had no right to be here. There were also cats who she hadn't even known were Eeries and cats she didn't recognise at all, like Zephyrglade and most of the WinterClan cats and- Christ, was that the Sun God? She was going to pass out. So, uncharacteristically nervous and out of place, she was more than happy to hang back with Lucistic. She'd hardly left his side since the news of Gravel's death. But even here she felt guilty, like she had no right to comfort him either - just when her crush had started to get really bad, his mate had died. Even though logically she knew the two weren't connected and it wasn't her fault, she couldn't help feeling that it was an insult to Gravelshell's memory to be here with her husband, where Gravel should have been - especially with their grieving children within sight. Now they were some strange 'almost' - almost something; as close as she and Luc had always been, she didn't think the way things had been between them lately was just how best friends were supposed to act. It was too... Full. Too charged. Like the air around them was a thick, sweet liquid slowing their movements and keeping them apart, but they were still waiting, silently, without speaking, for something. Some final domino to fall.
At least Innocentia was here, and she hadn't been involved with the Eeries for much longer than Eshek had. She looked down and went back to where she had been piling little stones onto Lucistic's tail to see how many she could get in a row before they fell off. "Ten," she told him quietly with a little smile up at him, adding another stone. She was now just a few weeks away from the end of her pregnancy; her fur was thick and glossy, her stomach round and scarred from Phantomfox's attack, and there was an expectant, buzzing sort of happiness about her, even despite her present anxiety.
FLORIAN FaithJadie He honestly wasn't entirely certain he wanted to be here. He sort of joined up with Zephyr after a moment, a rather grouchy look on his face, though that wasn't so unusual for him. "What are you doing? You look confused."
BRAVEWOLF FaithJadieracer As per usual, the deity seemed more awkward and out of place than he had any right to be for his power level. At least for the moment, he looked painfully normal, no glowing lights or anything of the sort, and the silvery tom hung around beside Blindfaith quietly, blinking with wide eyes as Kotori approached and then disappeared. Should he be concerned...? Even if he shouldn't, he was anyway.
COMMANDER SHULE Faith The Commander was here more out of politeness than actual desire to associate with the other side of the family. "Perhaps Kotori could teach your side a thing or two. You could certainly use it." She commented, and it would be up to Glowstar, really, to determine whether Shule was talking about the honesty or the fact that their half of the family needed to die out sooner rather than later.
VULCAN Faithfox What was the ghost guy doing here? Well, he had been Lorelei's mate, so it just made sense that he was here, he supposed. As it so happened, he popped up between Lucistic and Eshek. Fun fact, his daughter had been the leader before Gravelstar! So he actually knew Luc's mate. Just not about the fact she was dead. "Where's the wife? You did have one of those didn't you, big guy?"
VIATRIXFaith Little Viatrix was not so little anymore. The pretty gray-furred she-cat retained a certain childish quality about her, sure, but she'd grown into a fine young woman who was easily twice the size of her tiny white-furred mother.
"You'd think everyone else would dress up as nice as us for a family reunion," She purred while Innocentia tidied up the big bow around her neck, "But it looks like we're the only ones with any sense of style, huh, mama?"
REAPINGNIGHTFaithCleaverraceruniqcrim "Remind why we are here again?" Reapingnight growled, glaring at all the non-WinterClan members of his family. Most cats here weren't worth their weight in fresh-kill and honestly he wished he could skip this altogether, "Nothing good will possibly come of this..."
YUCCABLOSSOMFaithHoneystorm "ZEPHY!" The yowl came from between Zephyrglade's feet. Assuming he looked down, he'd see a she-cat that was maybe apprentice age and looked exactly like his dear sister, Yuccablossom. She wrapped herself around his leg and chewed on it for a second before looking up to him with big, child-like hazel eyes, "Where in the world have you been!? If you keep running off on me without saying anything, I'm never gonna let go of your leg! Take that as an official warning from your Head Peacekeeper!"
SOARINGLIGHTFaithHoneystormracer "You do realize that you just asked a blind cat if she'd seen anyone," Soaringlight snickered, lifting her head up from behind Blindfaith's flank. The sisters had found each other early on in the reunion and decided to spend their time gossiping in private for as long as they could manage uninterrupted which, turned out, wasn't very long, "What do you want, Uncle?"
HAVILAH @anyone Not many cats approached Havilah, which was a shame because he genuinely did was to socialize with the family he had left. But alas, his sour attitude and clinical RBF made him unapproachable, so he remained a wallflower of sorts. Just sitting in the shadows looking pretty.
DEATHREIGNFaithJadie etc Deathreign followed tamely at Reapingnight's heels. He wasn't sure why they were here either, but his coat pricked under the weight of so many eyes. This was a family reunion, not a clan meeting, so maybe he didn't have to keep up the princely act. Pomegranatedecay would probably be furious if he didn't, though.
He dropped back to stand next to his sister, blinking at her with worry. He was so glad to be with her again, he felt less alone, but she looked so terrible and sad. The fire she'd faced their mother with was gone. He pressed up against her with a tiny reassuring smile. "Watch this," he whispered to Sludgemilk, determined to cheer her up. He was going to pay for this later, but if it cheered her up...
"Dad probably wants to see his family again," Deathreign called up to his brother. "Or did you forget again? These cats are our rel-a-tives." He sounded out the word helpfully.
REAPINGNIGHT CleaverFaith "Oh shut up, loser, you know what I meant," Reapingnight growled, giving Deathreign likely exactly what he was looking for. Ever since his brother's promotion he'd been extra sour toward him but never took things further than harsh words. He was outranked and knew it and it pissed him off, "This is a big waste of time. These cats are strangers to us so I don't see the point in getting to know them. We have WinterClan, after all," he turned his mustard yellow eyes directly to Sludgemilk and narrowed them, "We don't need any outsiders."
foxHoneystorm LEUCISTICCROW "Nine" Leucisticcrow muttered before leaning his head back to look at the fallen stones by his tail. He offered a kind, thanks-for-trying-to-cheer-me-up smile before leaning his head back down into his paws, but added lightly, "Thanks for supporting me by coming to this even though I'm boring as hell right now. But although your my emotional support cat today I'll be your dog any other day," He promised, but couldn't leave the conversation entirely serious and added, "So long as you give me plenty of tormenting treats, just not yet."
But apparently that didn't last as Vulcan made his way over, "Are you even alive? Because if you aren't you're setting up the precedent that I have to keep showing up to this thing even when I'm dead."
Jadie ZEPHYRGLADE "Looking for our sister, y'know, that other person in our family," Zephyrglade said reminded his brother, but cringed at the sudden mention of his name. He enjoyed his sister, truly... To a level. Okay maybe she was a lot so he could only handle her in small doses... Ugh. He was such a bad brother, she just wanted to be loved, but there was some inner instinct inside of him that matched peoples energy levels with a balanced out version. Seeing Yuccablossom launch at him with such a ferocious energy sent him plummeting down to his chillest demeanor, "What's up sissy?" He asked, but his gaze was disinterested despite the effort to remind himself to be better than how he instinctively acted.
JadieHoneystorm BLINDFAITH & KOTORI "Actually, that is something worth some discussion," Blindfaith said waving a paw in front of her face to show her eyes were no longer blind, "Yeah, took some Regime medicine and I'm all better now." She paused for a long moment before bumping Soaringlight, "I'm kidding, no, it's just... I had it when I came back from being... Well, that's probably what we should talk about, but I guess we're not since uncle Kotori wants our attention so much."
"Hey, I'm always up for a good story," Kotori said settling down with a mock interested expression like a puppy dog staring up expectantly at its master for a treat.
"Alright, I guess I don't care if Ratnest's here," Blindfaith said with a bit of uncertainty, but seemed to become more confident as she spoke, "So when I went missing I actually encountered a a path in the Enchanted Forest, one that hadn't been there before. I followed it and wound up somewhere that almost doesn't feel a part of this world. It felt like years and years there, but I guess it wasn't. When I came back out time had gone out, but not as much as I thought so at least I wasn't gone for years like I had thought. And now I'd rather never talk about the experience again."
"Wow, riveting story, really excellent story telling. Now, Soaringlight, how about that chat that I want to have with you that's significantly more interesting than whatever this was?" Kotori asked.
Honeystorm GLOWSTAR & SEAN "I was speaking more about how good you were at getting him to be an honest tom and wanted a tip from you, but yeah, sure, let's turn that compliment into a put down, why not," Glowstar said, turning her attention back to the gathered crowd.
"I mean, I'd compliment you on how well you raised Dusky, but that wasn't you. Oh! Or how independent and hardcore Senescence is, but that wasn't you... But Luc- no, no, not him either. Have you actually raised kits Glow or is everyone overhyping the whole you being the worlds best mom thing?" Sean asked.
For a moment it looked like Glowstar was going to go on staring in the other direction and Sean settled for that decision, leaning in closer to Shule to be comfortable. But the moment didn't stay silent, "I can't escape who I am, that's what you always say. No matter the queen act or peace I create here I'm a born assassin. But so long as I'm a born killer, you're a born villain no matter what you do. And the best part is, it haunts you, but I'm proud of who I am and I bet that drives you mad."
"Because I try and take your pride so I can have some, miss psychologist? That's the other difference between you and I, you can psychoanalyze me all you want, but turned against yourself, you'll never know what you are. Misunderstood by yourself more than anyone else. I know who I am and I don't love it, but you don't know who you are, that's why you can fall in love with yourself. But someday, I hope, you'll wake up to one of my comments and be just as haunted as I am. I mean, that's the real reason Senescence and I can get along because she has some humanity in her. But you, you don't feel anything, you struggle to even cry when one of your kits die because you've forgotten how." Sean's intense exotic green gaze bore into Glow's with interest, feeling satisfied when the silence stayed this time. His joy was too obvious from the devilish smirk pressed across his lips.
JadieCleaver SLUDGEMILK Sludgemilk stiffened at her brothers touch, but slowly she melted back into his fur, comforted by his warmth. Her eyes were like hurricanes, worry dangerously circulating around her wide eyed pupils. She didn't make a sound as Deathreign moved away from her, but almost wanted to reach back out to him, it was like her comfort blanket had been removed. But he could catch the faintest smile at his joke, that is until Reapingnight addressed her. Her eyes met the floor quickly, she could hardly even place the memory of why the emotion pushed such a strong feeling of sadness, but even with the crystals weighing her mind down she knew it was because of her half clan kits, lost forever, never given a chance. She hadn't felt ready to be a mom so maybe there was a guilt of relief there, but it hardly mattered, she was already told by her family to have a litter as soon as she could.
Her dizzying stare relaxed when it landed back on Deathreign whispering a soft, "Thank-you." She leaned back into him for a few long zombified moments from the medicine she stayed there before thinking more, "Can we talk together privately?" She asked, hoping Reapingnight wouldn't follow, she didn't have the strength to push him away. With or without him she wanted to talk.
(You know who should follow for conflict? Reapingnight xD)
(I do have Eerie family members so I'm throwing them in, but if they shouldn't be here they can just be off to the side observers) Rubyflame Rubyflame sat off to the side. Technically Fang had been adopted into the Eerie family, but Rubyflame was still bitter and after all that happened wanted to keep an eye on Glowstar and Foxstar. Mostly to make sure the pair didn't go and disappear on DayClan again. Sure it was twolegs that had been the cause, but she'd rather not see Glowstar disappear again.
Rubyflame would like a few moons of peace or at least something external not causing any problems so she could better keep an eye on Foxstar so she didn't try anything sus. Plus the hidden pond was her and Fang's usual napping spot, and they'd just kind of wound up as part of the festivities as a result.Honeystorm
Cinnamonsavage Cinnamonsavage had made a quick trip to the food place to get his beloved chicken nuggets. (couldn't attend a family gathering on an empty stomach after all. He sat down near his mom, which was hard since she was surrounded by all of the cats. So he sat kind of vaguely in her midst. The tom not bothering to exchange greetings or interactions, instead setting down his bag and immediately sticking his head into it to get a chicken nugget out.
"You're not boring," Carriondare replied softly, leaning down to rest her cheek between his ears. A moment later, she shifted herself forward to rest her chin between his eyes, looking down at him from over his own head. She smiled, a sad, comforting little thing, the movement of her own mouth when she spoke impeded by his skull beneath her. "You're grieving."
And then Vulcan ruined it.
"Shut up!" Carriondare snapped at Vulcan, snapping up onto her hind legs and trying - and failing - to claw the voyeur freak of an old ghost man and drag him back down. She spoke in a furious, hissing whisper. "His wife is-" Her eyes darted back to Luc guiltily, "a hotter ghost than you," she finished, voice still that vicious whisper but quieter now like she was trying to stop Lucistic from hearing despite the fact he was right next to her; the quietness of it only made the whisper sound more hateful and gurgly. "So show some respect." If she could have smacked him across the face, she would have.
YUCCABLOSSOMFaith Zephyrglade's habit of balancing out energy levels really didn't work in his favor with Yuccablossom. The she-cat was like a positive magnet, always drawn to the negative. It was simply her nature to try and turn that frown upset down. While her brother wasn't the grumpiest cat at this reunion, he was nonetheless the first one she set her eyes on.
"I'm the Head Peacekeeper of DayClan now, although now that I think about it you've been in my office at least one time. You're more slippery than an eel, I can never keep track of you! Do you think next time you could at least tell me where you're going so I don't have to worry about you all the time?" Despite the content of her words, Yuccablossom was grinning ear to ear, more playful and happy than any other emotion.
SOARINGLIGHTFaithHoneystorm Soaringlight gave Kotori a sharp glare. While her opinion on the story was actually shockingly close to her Uncle's, she wasn't so rude as to voice it. Being angry at him was also a good distraction from being annoyed with herself for not noticing her sister was sighted once more, "That kind of attitude is why you don't have any friends," She said to her uncle before turning her attention back to Blindfaith, "And if you aren't blind anymore you may as well drop that Clan name of yours. Astrid is much prettier if you ask me..."
She sighed and stretched to her paws, letting out a big, toothy yawn, then padded toward Kotori. She didn't feel the need to say goodbye to her sister, they didn't really do that anyway, "Speaking of names, stop calling me Soaringlight. When I'm not in SunClan I go be Allaria. Now what is it you want?"
REAPINGNIGHTFaithCleaver Reapingnight grinned, now that was the kind of reaction he wanted! Sludgemilk was totally beaten down, wouldn't even look him in the eyes, and to the warped mind of his that somehow translated to respect. It was powered by fear, but was respect nonetheless. He turned his head away from the two of them with a hrmpth but still kept his ears angled in their direction.

Darksonata & Stormstar "Don't give me that look" Darksonata meowed firmly to his companion "We have went on three dates now, it's time you finally get to meet the family. There will be so many cats there, I doubt they will even notice us" the black tom moved up to his date's side and wrapped his tail firmly around Stormstar's, standing tall and confident. After all if he had just brought Stormstar around on a normal day all attention would be on them, but with so many cats going to be at this reunion, there was bound to be bigger drama to divert their attention "I want you to meet Soaringlight, she is very special to me" CleaverJadieHoneystorm
Jadie(Reapingnight), pao(Pomegranatedecay), Cleaver(Deathreign), uniqcrim(Ghastlygaze), Faith(Sludgemilk) This was Eclipsingkit's first time out of WinterClan. The young she-kit excitedly ran straight into the middle of the crowd, looking up with wide eyes at all the adults. Her head was tilted upwards, her tail straight up in the air with only the tip twitching. She didn't really care that these cats were not all from WinterClan, they were still family, well sort of family... right? "Hi!!" she squeaked, trying to sound older than she was "I am Eclipsingkit, nice to meet you!"
DeathreignFaith Her smile wasn't as big as he had hoped, but it was better than nothing. He had more confidence to stand up to his brother these days, his position protecting him even if he knew he would pay for his actions later. The knight straightened up and nodded, taking a few steps away from the worst of the crowd. His ears twitched back as he heard Eclipsingkit's call, but they were far enough he didn't bother to respond. "Is this far enough?" he asked Sludgemilk quietly.
StormstarJadieHoneystormracer "If I die, I'm blaming you," he replied absently, brushing against Hakoda. Though his eyes were clear and his head high, he had not met his date's gaze once since the warrior had come to fetch him; now his deep blue gaze skimmed restlessly over the crowd in search of familiar faces. He didn't know Soaringlight, but he did know a few other cats he suspected might be here, and they were enough to keep him talking, the uneasy words slipping off his tongue.
