It was off somewhere far but also near but Felix couldn't get a good grip on what and where it was. The sound was silent yet thrumming from somewhere inside of him. He had had this feeling before...once before. This yearning was too strong to ignore and slowly he made his way through the territory and somehow found himself at the small of the beach the League owned. The skies were an odd orange pink showing the signs of twilights approaching. The orange tom felt as if he was in a daze that he couldn't snap out of. Far off in the distance he saw...something. He wasn't sure what of but it was something. He could hear rustling and the sound of paw steps behind him but didn't pay any attention to them. He knew something was there...perhaps she was there. But how? How could that be? She was gone...or was she? Something was pulling him towards the water, as it was he was already ankle deep in the oceans warm salty waters.

"Where are you going?" a voice called out, as Rhiannon spotted the tom nearby. She had spent the last few days on the beaches, scouring the land for other treasure maps like the one she had seen with Sunfreckle, but she had turned up with nothing. Often, these long walks on the beach were done alone; not many of the league's cats seemed to enjoy this frigid place. It wasn't like the ones near SummerClan that cats really enjoyed, after all.
Still, she could recognize this cat. What was his name? France? Feline? Felicia? "Hey, don't go in too deep!" she shouted, "I'm not going to rescue you, you know."

He heard the voice in the far off distance but couldn't make out who it was nor did he really care. The tom only paused for a moment before slowly going on.
Just then two cats ran up to Rhiannon, or rather Orion ran up to Rhiannon dragging a struggling Adrian with her. "Have you seen Felix anywhere? I f-f-found that this idiot had put something into his meal. I only found out after the fact and by the time I got ahold of Adrian Felix was g-g-gone." The white tom narrowed his eyes. "Why do you even care about the hot head? He needed to loosen up and not be some angry stuck up. I highly doubt he'll get himself killed. You are being over dramatic." The bengal she cat growled and bit his tail harder causing Adrian to howl in pain. "I dislike seeing my fellow clanmate d-d-d-drugging another one out of sheer boredom and perhaps spite. Right now though we need to find him so he doesn't so anything stupid. So Rhiannon have you seen F-F-Felix?"
Rhiannon's eyes widened at the other cats who came dashing towards her. What was going on anyway? "Can someone start from the top?" her tail flicked from one side to the other as she listened to them bicker, irritation twitched in her whiskers.
"Seriously, what's wrong with you?" she turned to Adrian; it was difficult to tell whether she was annoyed or amused really. She turned to Orion, the more familiar cat with a nod, before turning towards the sea once more. "He was wading into the water just now, I have no idea what he's doing but I hope he knows how to swim."

(And this was the story of how Felix died pfft)
"That I do not k-k-now...I've never really asked him if he could sw-sw-swim. Do you know if he c-c-can swim mouse brain?" Again this was followed by another punishing blow but this time it was a heavy thump to the head with her paw. Adrian growled a low growl before looking down at the ground. "Uh I dunno, didn't think the idiot would try to drown himself. It wouldn't be that bad of a thing though. Again Orion smacked him throwing a death glare his way. "I swear to a-a-all that is holy. If he dies I will p-p-personally kill you. And ask Rhiannon if she'd h-h-hide your pathetic body."
As the two cat argued Felix seemed to have disappeared somewhere. Without them knowing he had walked off to the side away from everyone's view. The orange tom being tormented by the terribly beautiful and painful visions only he could see and hear. He chased after the figure from his past longing to have her by his side again. She sounded so close yet far away...he hounded her every paw step not noticing that she wasn't even leaving imprints in the sand.

Rhiannon listened to them bicker with an amused twitch of her ear. "Well why don't we discuss murder later and just find the other cat?" she suggested with a smirk, as she glanced around. "Now where would your little friend head towards anyway?" she spoke aloud, glancing at the beach, come on, let's spread out...or if you can catch his scent trail, we can follow."
