Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. Cardinalsong sighed. The grief of finding out his mother had perished in the flood was still dogging him. But he had a duty to his clan. He wasn't sure yet what he wanted to do. But he wanted to gather the apprentices and go from there.
He scuffed the ground, glad for the dry land under his paws. With how sodden the territory still was in places, Cardinalsong was increasingly grateful for the patches of land that weren't soaking wet.
Cardinalsong never considered him much of a swimmer. Sure the plentiful water of SpringClan had been seen as a blessing. Plenty to drink, and soothe overheated bodies after a hard day of work.
But he didn't think he'd look at water quite the same again.
'Perhaps I'll focus on water safety... though maybe that'll be too soon.' He wondered. But this had never been considered an issue until suddenly it was. So perhaps it was high time to try it.
