Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The nocturne of the night—cicadas crescendoing against the crash of the waterfall—felt strangely familiar and uniquely uncharted. She was no stranger to the siren call of the moon, although the territory she overlooked on the cliffside was vast and dissimilar to the one she'd left behind, other than the comfort of the rushing falls. The cascades were the one true thing she had left to hold onto. Featherpaw released a somber sigh, watching as her nostalgia crystallized into a white cloud that evaporated against the navy sky.
The reverie was over too soon when a crash exploded behind her, the blues of her melancholy fading to a surprised flush of her cheeks as she whirled around to discern the source.

Moonblight might be fully grown now, but he had yet to fully grow into his paws. The tom stumbled into the clearing having tripped on yet another gnarled root of a tree. It should've been easy to hunt in the night, but there were nights when he'd mess up all the same, and here he was, stumbling into a scene that seemed way too intimate for him to be intruding on.
"Oh!" he spoke, eyes widened in surprise, "I'm so sorry, I didn't accidentally chase off something of yours, did I?"
Moonblight's fumbling eased her back into a relaxed stance, the apprentice parting her maw to offer him a reassurance when a shriek pierced the night. A shadow covered part of the moon but as it descended, obsidian talons outstretched, they would have just enough time to discern the hawk before it clasped its talons into Featherpaw's flesh and attempted to lift her skyward with it.

He barely had time to react. The young cat had been standing there one minute and now she was being lifted into the air by a hawk? His eyes widened in surprise as he stood there in shock for a couple of seconds, before racing over, panic written across his face. "Fight back!" he shouted, running as fast as his paws could carry him, "struggle!"
