Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Something was wrong, that much Bravewolf would be able to conclude. Soaringlight's ears were flicked back at an angle, her tail was hanging low on the ground, her electric blue eyes shifty and unsure. She was usually such a confident cat but at the moment her body language indicated anything but.
"Bravewolf, we need to talk. In private. Let's go to the boneyard," She didn't invited him there before despite it being her and Darksonata's choice hangout. Honestly, it was kind of weird for her to request a private talk at all. Soaringlight loved her god-brother but they were not so close as to hang onut one-on-one, "It's important."

Damek did note the odd situation, but he internally stopped himself from even considering trying to pry with supernatural power. Not only would she likely not appreciate it, it was probably rude to use god powers on your own sibling, wasn't it? Especially when they were mortal.
He padded after her quietly, wondering what exactly was going on. "Talk? About what?" The silvery tom was certainly more nervous than his sister, and he looked rather anxious as they continued on.
Soaringlight scanned her surroundings to make sure no other cats were nearby. Satisfied that no cat could overhear then, she let out a sigh that borderlined dramatic, the type you'd expect from a defiant teenager. Now, this dark-furred she-cat was quite mature, she just had that tone about her.
"I'm... I think I'm going to leave SunClan. Maybe Darksonata too," She finally admitted, her eyes on the boneyard growing slowly in the horizon, "It's no secret that I hate it here and want to go home to the Regime and Littlestar finally called me out on it. But... I won't leave until I know you'll be okay without me. Will you? Be honest."
The fact that Soaringlight wasn't looking at him made him uneasy. And apparently rightfully so, as Bravewolf heard what she was saying. "YOU'RE WHAT!?" His voice seemed to raise an octave, sounding more like a keening whine than a god, looking downright panicked. "Okay, how could I ever be okay if I'm left here all alone!?" First it was Dusky, then Unseen, everyone was leaving him, and the tom suddenly looked well, about to run. He backed up a few paces, looking behind him as if gauging whether he could outrun this conversation. Tears pricked at the corner of his eye, and suddenly, he wanted to be anywhere, anywhere, but here. "IF YOU WANT TO LEAVE SO BAD, THEN GET OUT!" His voice was a half sob, half shout of anger, like he couldn't decide which was worse, her staying here miserable, or her leaving him to fend for himself.
This was the type of reaction she had expected but it still broke her heart. Bravewolf's confidence was fragile and losing her, one of the last members of his family still in SunClan, was crushing to him. She loved him dearly but was between a rock and a hard place and wasn't sure how to express it. After an almost-too-long span of silence, she sighed and finally met her brother's eyes, revealing that hers were watering, too.
"Bravewolf," She said firmly, her tail raising slightly, "You have the power to change SunClan to be anything that you want. You can build it into a place that makes you feel safe with or without me. But you don't owe them anything, you know that? You can leave with me. You have the power to do that, too."
She let that sink in for a moment before adding a bit reluctantly, "But I will not leave you if you need me so badly, so stop your fussing, it's embarrassing."
"Easy to say for you." There was a strange sort of bitterness to Bravewolf's voice in his response, beneath the tears that made his voice waver. He took one step away from her, then another and another until he was a faintly glowing silver streak racing away from Soaringlight. The last words he whispered floated to his littermate on the breeze, echoing his earlier upset as they enveloped her. "Do whatever you want. You always do anyway."
"I'm not going to chase you," Soaringlight said firmly as her brother began to dark away across the sandy earth. They hadn't even made it halfway to the boneyard and already this had turned into a disaster. Part of her had expected that and chastised herself for starting prematurely, but, honestly, the result would have probably been the same either way.
She stood there for a moment before sighing and casually followed after Bravewolf's paw-prints and scent trail. The last time she had seen him this upset her had made a volcano erupt, so, while she had said she wouldn't chase after him, it was in the best interest of SunClan that she at least kept tabs on him. She hoped that once she did catch up with her brother he'd be more willing to listen.
