Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Glowstar entered SunClan camp, for the most part she had spent more time with her kits than she ever thought she would. She had them while she was in DayClan and when DayClan was imprisoned in SunClan's territory she had still gotten to treasure time with them. She would typically visit Darkcomplex, play with the kits and always make sure to curl up next to them at night telling them stories till they fell asleep. Despite being a leader and having had them for a moon in DayClan she wasn't entirely sure if her kits even knew she was a leader. They always heard her referred to as Strikhedoniadalisay. Now it had been almost a week since she'd last really seen them and spent time with them, something they weren't used to.
But it was time to address some big topics. Such as the fact that they witnessed her beat up Foxstar and then drag off a dead cat that she talked lovingly to. Then there was also the subject of ceremonies and whether they'd like to stay more in SunClan or DayClan.
"Hey kits, sorry I've been gone for so long," Strikhedoniadalisay said as she entered the nursery, "I'm back though. I was thinking we could go on an adventure today and be back before sunset."
She looked around as if someone was listening in before whispering, "Outside of camp," she smiled.
Cinnamonkit's ears pricked and he hopped up. "Great, this camp was getting boring anyways. Where are we going?" He asked mimicking her whisper. "Also why are we whispering? Did you lose your voice?" He asked as he came up to her and sat down glancing back to see if his siblings were going to hurry up and come join him.

Arcanekit flashed a dangerous smile, already a half step out of the nursery even as her mother spoke. "What are we waiting for! Let's go!" She'd noticed her mother's disappearance over the past week, and the talk of DayClan's freedom. Darkcomplex had explained that she'd come back soon enough, and to cause as much trouble for Foxstar as they could in the meantime. Arcanekit, of course, took this to heart, and Foxstar had the unfortunate luck of having various critters, from harmless to deadly, being found in her nest each morning, with no clue as to the culprit, though one could guess.
Darkcomplex stood a pace behind the Senator, almost hesitant in his place, as though he didn't quite belong. He'd seen just how much Glowstar cared for Deal at the execution, and though he didn't much care what Foxstar did to the tom, the SunClan warrior knew his mate would never love him nearly so much, nor the same way, as she loved him.
Outside of camp, again? Serenekit had enough of outside. He was ready to stay inside camp forever, for the rest of his days. He sighed deeply, but got up and wandered over to rub against Glowstar's legs, purring softly in greeting. At least she was back.
“I don’t know why I’m whispering either,” Strik whispered back with a clever little smile before speaking up, “we’re going to look around SunClan and then just a little bit of DayClan. In leafbare DayClan gets too cold to explore too much, but when new leaf comes you can run around and explore it as much as you like,” she promised.
She sat down first, “there’s something I need to explain to each of you first. I know your father and I have always been together with you everyday and night. But I actually live in DayClan, just like Foxstar, I’m a leader. I have to care for a lot of cats like how Foxstar cares for everyone here and I have to go back to DayClan, meaning I won’t be here everyday. You’re all growing up and will need to choose where you’d like to live. You’ll always be welcome in DayClan as well as your father, but if you wanted to train there and be there more than SunClan then now is the time to figure out where you’d prefer to stay more. I promise you, I’ll visit at least three times a week in SunClan if not more... but if you don’t choose SunClan I am not sure if Foxstar would allow you to come back,” Glowstar admitted looking at Darkcomplex to see what he thought.
Looking at him she could see how left out he felt and walked over nuzzling into him, “Hey, we’re a team,” she reminded him knowing it must have been hard for him to witness everything he saw at the execution. Just saying that wasn’t enough, but she’d have to talk to him while the kits were exploring. For now all she could offer him was her assurance and affection.
Duskkit pounced on top of Arcanekit and immediately proceeded to bolt out of camp, “I’m going to explore first!”

"Knowing Foxstar, she'll treat them just as they do you, Strikhedoniadalisay." Darkcomplex replied, smiling softly and returning her affection, though perhaps a bit more hesitantly than she. "By virtue of us being SunClan, you must be SunClan cats too, so she will reconcile it that you belong to both clans, though this one more so." If not, Foxstar would simply attack and take the kits back, and that was an alternative none of them would want.
"Hey, no fair!" She whined, rising to her paws and chasing after him. It wasn't her first time out of camp, but even so, it was a special moment to be able to explore with both her parents and all her siblings, something that was far less common.
Cinnamonkit snorted and followed after his siblings. "You know the first one out, is likely to be the first to become dinner!" He called after them. "And I'm sure some foxes would love tasty morsels like yourselves." He called, and when that failed to slow them down. "Hey! don't leave me behind!" He protested darting after them
"Excellent," She purred watching the kits race past as she followed them at a leisurely pace, "We're going to have to explain them our relationship. It's time."
She felt honesty was more important than anything. That Darkcomplex would always be their dad and she would always be their mom. That Dark had no other choice, but to be her mate and if she didn't have anyone else at the time she'd have considered, but she was already with Deal. Everything was complicated, but the younger they told them the more time they had to come to terms with it. Still the last thing she wanted was for any of them to think she didn't care for their father. Nor did she want Darkcomplex to think that either, "I'm sorry you had to see that at the execution. I just got so mad and I don't know if people are looking at you cause you're mates with me, but if they are I'm sorry," She said, but realized that's not what she wanted to be sorry for, "No. I mean, I don't regret anything between us. I love Deal, but I'd never break up the family we have together. Ever. I'm a loyal cat and I was already with Deal when Foxstar assigned you to me, but if I wasn't I'd give you a chance and I can already tell in another time I would have been yours. But that's not how things came about, but you're apart of this family. That's why when we get DayClan back I want you to have a nest there. So if some of our kits choose to primairly stay in DayClan you can always come by and stay with them for a night. Whether you can admit it to yourself or not your family."
Duskkit looked up and down at everything, it looked so boring, was the outside life always this boring? Of course he had no way of knowing that in leafbare nature was typically boring. There were no leaves on the trees, not much prey so the air was silent and without any interesting trees or flowers everything looked the same, "It's just trees and snow, trees and snow... You know what, I'm going to develop a new character, you ready? My name. Is Darkheart, I was named after my father, but suffered one problem... My heart was black as the night. So I seek the frosty cold nights for a kill. The tom without a heart. Without a conscience. Careful Cinnamonkit, you might be my first victim."
Living in a clan with only one of his parents, not both? It made his head spin, and Serenekit wanted a few more minutes to think about it. But his siblings were already charging past him, and when his mother started to talk to their father, he figured he wasn't about to stick around. I guess I'll think about it later, he decided as he tumbled after his family. It was colder outside and he fluffed up his fur against the chill. He settled down a few kit-lengths from Darkheart, reluctant to join in on their game until he figured out what they were doing.
Angelkit didn't know what to say, so the small cat said nothing. She simply allowed herself to be carried in the midst of the swarm of her family as she thought. She would have to make a decision on where to live? She blinked twice. She knew that when the time came down to it, she would simply go where it would be most advantageous to her. She would look at things with a clinical detachment. Whichever suited her best, whereever she would thrive most. She knew nothing really about DayClan, so she didn't know which she would pick yet. Was she supposed to?
She let a sigh escape her mouth, before looking to her littermates. Would they each go their separate ways?
