He had made sure they had all eaten, slept- as well as they could, and that all those that were old enough had gotten whatever herbs satchels they might need for any extra energy on their trip. It was time. 

"Let all cats gather at the camp exit!" he called, standing tall on already aching paws, happily looking forward to never having to step foot on pavement as much as they had. He watched as they gathered, his tail tip flicking in anticipation for what was to come. Hope and pride filled his chest watching them all, a smile across his maw. When they had for the most part all assembled he called to them, "It is time we leave, we are thankful to our ancestors for granting us this place of refuge, but it is not our home, and both they and we know it now. This journey will be long, but we are together and stronger for it. If you need anything at all, I am here for you, not just as your leader, but as your equal." He affirmed, his voice loud and confident. "Now Swiftclan, we go."

And with that he turned, walking out of the camp with his tail held high, leading his clan towards their new lives in their rightful home.
