Acaiburst left the Janus camp and headed towards the main camp in search of other kits or apprentices to spend his time with. He really could not stand Heatherpaw and all of her annoying yapping so he finally needed to find a better place to hang out. You would think the Janus camp would be more peaceful but he remembered his days in the main nursery much more fondly. Acaiburst strolled into the camp after peeking around the corner in search of other cats and wondered where everyone was. It wasn't that cold out today, were they busy with the Dayclan and Springclan cats? The thought brought Deal's execution to mind and made him slightly sick and he quickly pushed those away. He had yet to come to terms with what he saw but he was not about to do that right now.
This time, his little brown tabby head could be founding peering around the nursery entrance. "Anyone here?" He called in a bright and clear voice. For the first time he did not seem to have a cold, it probably wouldn't last more than a day so he wanted to take advantage of this time.

"Hi, Kalkit." Acaiburst greeted the other kit before bounding over next to him."Are you okay?You sound sick?" He probably should not be around cats who were sick because of his weak immune system but was determined to survive to be a warrior.

The tabby kit nodded with understanding. "Trust me, I'm always sick. I get it." He purred and licked his friends shoulder. "I suppose that means you can't play though," the Janus frowned with disappointment.

"Let me check!" He offered with excitement, running outside of the den and peeking around. The day was much warmer than most days recently and rushed back in, coughing a few times on his way back. "Its pretty warm. We could go walk around the clearing?" He offered. That always helped Acaiburst when he wasn't feeling well.

"Come one, I'll help you get up." He could certainly sympathize with his fellow kit. He had certainly received much more acceptance since becoming a Janus and less people assumed the tabby kit would die before his apprenticeship.
[*I slowly inched my way to the den entrance, peering out of it with curiosity. The sun was out and it was warm. I let out a happy purr as my legs adjusted and I pranced around a little bit before stopping to allow my Clan-mate to catch up.*]

Acaiburst padded up to him and stood close in case Kalkit got tired. "Lean on me if you feel tired, okay?" He told his friend with concern. His clanmate seemed happy to be up and in the sun though and it made Acaiburst purr with happiness.
