Of course Spring was one of the ones left in DayClan. And for the first time in what seemed like ever... she was free of her mother. Not that she could actually enjoy it...
The flame colored she-cat didn't really know how she ended up in the group that didn't end up in the two leg place, but she couldn't say she minded not being caught up in a great big adventure; it gave her time to think. She'd been doing a lot of thinking lately, staring absently off into the distance, running a million scenarios through her head. The other cat walking by distracted her momentarily, and she let out a, "Hey, Spring, is it?"

Her head whipped around so fast it was honestly a miracle she didn't fall over. Spring's eyes went wide, like a deer caught in headlights, and she just stared at the other moment for a long, long moment. "Kerrigan?" The golden feline sounded both certain and uncertain at the same time, though regardless, she looked like she expected the other to hit her or something.
She offered a shrug, "I suppose you could call me that, more or less. It's kind of complicated, but most call me Kerr these days." Kind of was probably an understatement; it was horrifically complicated, so much more that she herself was still putting together the pieces, trying to lace together these two identities.

Spring blinked, looking a bit less tense as it was clear Kerr wasn't about to hurt her. "I understand complicated." Whether that was an invitation to share, or a mere acknowledgement that she too had her own rather complicated, well, everything, who knew. Likely a bit of both. "Oh, and yeah, I'm Spring."
She met her gaze, offering a small smile at the other's words; it was a kind gesture, albeit one that would have to be responded to at a later date. After all, she was quite sure if she tried to explain that she may or may not be a partial reincarnation to a near stranger, she'd probably scare her off, no matter quite how familiar she was with complicated. This wasn't just complicated; it was borderline psychotic. "I don't doubt that," she mused, before continuing, "by the way you reacted to me, I take it you knew my grandmother?"

"Yes I-" Spring answered instantly, then paused, shook her head, and continued. "No. I-I'm not old enough to know her. I've... just heard a lot about her." It was blatantly obvious she was trying to cover up the misspoken words, but how could she explain that she knew Kerrigan the Tsar more than just in passing? Especially when she wasn't necessarily certain that was true. Usually it wasn't a problem, but she had this intense feeling about Kerr in particular that she couldn't quite place.
"You know more than you're letting on and you appear distressed by that," she meowed plainly, seeing no value in withholding her bluntness. "Maybe we can help each other. What if I tell you all I know about her, and you return the favor? Maybe together we could piece this thing together?" Kerr was jumping to conclusions. There was no way that this other feline knew anything about Kerrigan that would help her figure things out. Why, then, did she feel so familiar?

Spring wanted to say no, but considering both were of BrookClan blood, and there was only so much she could really trust from Lakeveil's side of things.... it was perhaps her only shot at getting information. "What do we have to lose, I guess?" She murmured, her words more a question than a sure answer. But she seemed at least willing to play along for the moment.
"Perfect," she meowed with a smile, although her ambergreen eyes studied the other carefully. "Now, I'm going to sound crazy here. I'm gonna need you to at least try to bare with me until the end, okay?" she meowed, looking a little uncertain that she should continue. "I.... remember things about here that I shouldn't. Things that happened before I was born. It feels like... I've met these cats before." It feels like I've met you before she could have added. "I have no idea why."
"That makes two of us." Spring answered, nodding slightly. It was comforting, hearing something that to anyone else would sound insane, but to Spring it confirmed she WASN'T insane after all. "What kind of things do you remember? I remember a lot about my family... before DayClan."
