Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

"IAll of my best friends Like to go and get f---- up Then they talk about all the lives they never got to live Oh they're still waiting for some sort of invitation It's never coming along Oh no, you'll get just what you give Getting high with your best friends" - "Best Friends" by Grandson [ᴇxᴘʟɪᴄɪᴛ] » open, moonclan encouraged : friends thread « {thank discord bot for this random thread: gather herbs / start a new club}
Enigmaheart didn't know why he was asked to go get some herbs he didn't even know about. They just shoved some herbs in his face told him to get the leaves and pretty flowers that looked like them or something. Yeah he wasn't exactly paying attention to begin with and by herb number #2 on the list - catmint, he was already so far offtrack. What started with some occasionally bored huffing quickly downgraded into bad ideas and slacking off so fast as the tom ran around territory and he now had a collection of random items in a pile - a few mossballs, some perfectly egg-shaped rock that was holding down: a freshly broken branch still so green he was using one of the budding twigs as a catapult. No idea what these items were going to amount to but this warrior was not one to wait around for creatively to hand him an invitation to funland - he was just gonna make his own fun right here and now and anyone who came across was going to join whether they liked it or not.
A small she-cat watched him from a distance. He seemed like he was on a mission. Seemed was the operating word. How quickly he broke down to do something or other would not have been tolerated at the academy, but here he was, getting distracted when there was plenty of work to be done. The little Winterpaw's footsteps barely crunched the leaves she stepped on as she approached. "Uhhhh, what are you doing?"

"Well, I'm just learning about flaws I didn't know I had," he waved a paw as he answered without missing a beat looking down at his collection before turning to the voice that spoke to him realizing he didn't recognize it at first hearing. Looking at the small she-cat (i didn't see her description anyways and it's not on the page she is moonclan though right?) he narrowed his eyes, her size definitely meant an apprentice/student which probably explained why he never talked to her before.
"I don't know kit, how cool are you? Not gonna nark on me are you? Or should I say nark on you for being out here without permission?" he passively teased, trying to determine her level of dankness and implied her being in trouble if she wasn't a cool kid. Then cracking a smile and dropping the act, it felt too mean bullying a kitten like her.
(Yes... she is a bio I have to write and definitely not procrastinating.)
Really, Winterpaw had no idea what a nark was. But, the last thing she wanted to do was get whoever this guy was angry. "Uhh, I'm definitely not a nark, definitely not. I, uhh, was just-" It finally het her when he made it painfully obvious. She chuckled and nervously sat down. "Ahh... what are you doing, really this time?"

(lol it took me a while to get around to Lanternglow too so i don't blame you xD)
"I don't know it started with this great idea to teach my pet fish how to swim - turns out he's a natural at it... Then I realized I don't have a pet fish... " The black and white tabby seemed to look off in the distance as if confused about his own memory and having no clue how he ended up doing that, or how he ended up here. Don't do catmint kits.
"So anyways now I'm setting up a catapult and you're timing is perfect - I needed tiny small fluffballs I can send DayClan as testing. Don't worry they like love kits there or something." he said with such a thin veil of sarcasm, to make this poor kitten question if he was joking or not. "Oh here, put on this helmet, safety first." he pawed and swatted a admittedly impressive sized acorn cap that looked like it could be the perfect hat for a kitten but not an apprentice. It was just one of many fascinating trinkets he found in their little forest.
At first, she thought this tom was some crazy cat that had eaten some fermented fruit. Now she had been convinced he was some wacko who had gotten into her Clan's catmint supply and eaten fermented fruit at the same time. She audibly gulped at the tom put the acorn cap on her head. She wanted to run, but something held her in place. There was certainly some fear and terror in that anchor, but there was almost definitely some curiosity in there too. Had the tom really figured this out?

Without a word the warrior began preparing the test run: he picked up a mossball in his mouth, some berries he had on the side with one paw, then went over to the branch and with his free paw grabbed ahold of the branch, and started to pull back on it, straining under the tension but still not as far as it could go.
Enigmaheart took the moment to pause, spit out the mossball and eat one berry still saying nothing. He then set the other berry down and dusted his paw off as he grabbed the mossball and with both paws and all his weight pushed the branch down - and just as it felt as it was about to slip from under him - he jumped back and watched the mossball take off flying. The tom just watched it make distance, observing its power and air time, yeah okay this could work. He quietly ate his other berry, the mechanisms of his mind were an enigma.
"Alright, test run's looking pretty good, whose next?" he dared ask out loud as he turned back to his pilot-in-command wearing an acorn helmet.
This had to be a dream. A weird, fermented fruit induced, wild dream. Winterpaw was simply stunned as this cat went about his business and prepared the catapult. She was kind of impressed with the contraption. It seemed to work pretty well, even with the tom half focused on eating whatever those berries were. "Uhh... I think it looked good. Maybe you could try something with a little more weight to it? Like, say, a bunch of acorns?" She casually tipped down her helmet so that the tom could take off. She wanted it gone, but was almost scared to take it off on her own.

/ Maybe you could try something with a little more weight to it? /
"Hmph" he made a thoughtful noise as he looked off to the side and narrowed his eyes in processing of 'maths' and primitive engineering that he really had no skill in and was just winging it. Again, without any explanation he carefully swiped the acorn helmet of her head and into his jaw as strides over to the pile of moss with a little bit of a swift leap to initial movement as he pawed and clobbered them together into one big moss ball. Then, he dropped the helmet down and wrestled with rolling it perfectly on to the helmet which was so hard to do one paw at a time, really why couldn't he stand like a twolegs for more than two seconds to use both his paws efficiently to get this to work?
"Find me some acorns, or rocks - or anything 'weighty'" he instructed the apprentice for free labor, I mean, for the hands-on opportunity.
The apprentice really did not what to say or do to make sure this tom didn't launch her with whatever the next payload was going to be. She let out a little 'yeep' when he plucked the acorn helmet from her head, but stiffly nodded before turning her gaze to the forest floor around her. "How weighty do you want? Like me-sized or like kitten sized?"

"I dunno, I thought you were kitten-sized..." somehow Enigmaheart managed to forget how small kittens were compared to apprentices when he was never around them to begin with. "Alright, well fair I guess we should start smaller so we don't break it by going too large. Lets try some rocks staring with small and each one getting bigger than the last. It will give me time to see if I can try finding some eggs like i originally planned but, those are kinda rare this season since most of them are mostly likely hatched by now..." He glanced up high at the trees above them in hope though. "But you'll be our back up with the rocks, okay?"
