Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
“Children of the Sun, the High Priest/Priest Promised desires your presence below the Sun Rock for a gathering of the Chosen” Littlestar stood upon her perch, looking down over the rest of the clan as they gathered. Today she looked extra radiant, pride nearly rolling off of her in waves as looked at her youngest litter whom were ready to be promoted to apprentices. SunClan had been going through a rough patch, and to see so many young cats ready to begin their training was just what the clan needed to brighten their spirits.

As SunClan apprentices you must study meticulously, work hard, and make wise decisions for your future. With this in mind, it is now that I give our youth their new names"
[[Each kit is called forward and given their new apprentice name(ie a paw suffix) Once the new names are given, the soothsayers adds a little bit of orange paint onto the fur on their faces to visually show their new ranking within the clan]] "Joykit->Joypaw(racer ) Destinykit->Destinypaw(@ian ) Fatekit->Fatepaw(stardance ) Pheonixkit0>Pheonixpaw(Jetclaw ) Vividkit->Vividpaw(Jadie ) Lambkit->Lambpaw(@lore ) Lifekit->Lifepaw(@dot ) Lightkit->Lightpaw(achromatic ) Dazzlekit->Dazzlepaw(uniqcrim ) Griffinkit->Griffinpaw(@ian ) Sparklekit->Sparklepaw(biyuu ☆彡 ) Vibrantkit->Vibrantpaw(ashestoashes )"
"Your first step towards becoming a SunClan warrior will be deciding whom will serve as your mentor. Take your time, and consider the options before you carefully. You may pick whomever you like to become your mentor, other than the Janus, Soothsayer, promiseds and of course myself. Each of the Sun God’s chosen ones have different strengths and knowledge to impart upon you on your journey. You must remain with this mentor until the next gathering of the Chosen, at which time you will be allowed to select a new mentor to meet your needs. All SunClan apprentices, step forward and make your selections.
[[All apprentices, new and old, step forward to choose their mentor until the next Gathering of The Chosen. Typically first time apprentices present their choice of mentor with a sunflower. Fatepaw really hadn't put any thought into who he wanted his mentor to be. He had a few ideas though. Obviously, Bravewolf would be the best, but he knew that he was off limits. Next was one of the Janus... also off limits. He had even asked Nightfury in the days leading up, and had gotten the sternest no he had ever seen. Now, there was more. Darksonata. He just looked so cool... and he wasn't off limits! With that the kitten wasted no time finding him in the crowd. "Hey! You can be my mentor, right?"

At the back of the crowd a dark shadow had almost managed to slip out of the ceremony springs, that is until a little ball of fur came running up to him tumbling out of the crowd to land at his paws. As far as he was concerned he already had an apprentice, and Silverpaw was more than enough to try and keep up with. He lifted his paw and patted the young cat on the head with a shake of his head, before trying to slip away once more. stardanceѕнαdow✩

(Just gonna slide in for funies, too bad he can't be mentor rn rip-a-rooni )
Hanging in the background, Dark or Midnightcurrent found the whole process interesting. Maybe it was just a novelty of their culture, having a whole ceremony and making a scene but... he did kinda like to witness it as an outsider it felt like one of the most useful way to experience the clan first-hand and get all wrapped up in the moment and make him want to cheer on the kits - but no, just a rare smile for now and eyes that that traced the illustrated symbols as they were painted on. It must of reminded him of the better parts of being a loner when they were just a group of free, wild childs having fun together, just with more rules and more organized here. If he had been born into the clans he was the right age to be becoming a warrior himself, instead he was like the drop-out starting late way back in the junior high beginner levels. Granted he wasn't a complete novice without skills or he wouldn't have survived long enough to be here.
/ deciding whom will serve as your mentor. / Is that how they did it? He glanced to Yarepawn and wondered if he could 'unofficially chose' her or maybe... He glanced for their other recruits he was familiar with. He knew it defeated the purpose since he needed to learn from Sunclan cats but Sugar/Paradisepromise felt like she would've been a patient mentor, or Risk/Daredelight would've been both fun and occasionally life-threatening, but maybe someone like Widow/Gothicvictory would havethe most he could learn from, even if he wasn't sure about her morals something about her vibe... To be fair he had no idea what they would think of him, and maybe just maybe he might be able to mentor one of the younger ones one day. Guess it all depended how this all went.
/ ...Several cats have been injured lately in traps that have been laid. / Was that suppose to reference Butterscotchdrop's accident? That and just that? Not even a 'one of own was hurt lets wish them well' or something? Sheesh, cold. He thought there was a little more care into these cat clans but maybe they all the same at the core of their hearts, no better than the rogues he met on the street. Somehow that did make him feel more on their level and this whole clan thing wasn't as intimating as he first thought.

The newly named Joypaw knew exactly whom she wanted as her mentor, even though he wasn't a super popular choice among the other apprentice. Joykit carefully picked up her sunflower that she had spent hours decorating and painting and pranced right up to perfectstorm. He was her older brother, even though he refused to acknowledge them as such. The calico placed the sunflower at his feet, like up at him with wide eyes "Big brother, will you be my mentor?" Jadie
One would assume a princess-like she-cat like Vividpaw would go after some of the most well-known fighters or hunters of the Clan. Perhaps a cat with a big reputation or history of fantastic feats. But not, the pretty little white-furred she-cat padded right past her illustrious siblings and sat herself down in front of Carnagepanic, "I pick you as my mentor!" She giggled before rearing back on her hind legs and putting her sunflower behind his ear, "You always seem so nice, I'm sure you're a great Warrior and have a lot of good skills to teach me!" Perfectstorm was sort of at a loss for words. He'd never had a proper apprentice, likely because he was known for being grumpy and intimidating, but truth be told he'd always wanted one. He was overjoyed that his little sister picked him and even flashed her the hind of a smile, "It'd be my pleasure, little sister." racer
Carnagepanic sat beside Valleyrose to watch the ceremony, content to watch the ceremonies from a distance. A clan meeting just meant more time for him to sit peacefully with his mate without any patrols pulling them apart, and he was happy for the opportunity. As the apprentices dispersed to find their mentors, his gaze dropped to his tail as he tentatively reached it out to twine with his mate's tail. That wasn't too affectionate for public eyes, right?
He looked up to see the leader's daughter sitting right in front of him, and his mouth fell open. "Uh..." He stared at her blankly, then up at Valleyrose. What was he supposed to say? She couldn't be his apprentice, she was too special. Carnagepanic didn't know the first thing about training a little cat, he could barely keep Southpaw out of trouble and she wasn't even his to look after.
"I... uh... I'm very honored Vividpaw, but..... are you really sure?"
"Of course I'm sure! Why wouldn't I be?" Vividpaw asked, backing away to give her new mentor some time and cocking her head to the side. She looked extremely cute and fluffy, her white fur stubbornly holding on to the last of her kitten fluff, "Is there a secret about you that I should know that would change my impression of you or something?"
Valleyrose twined her tail with Carnagepanic's and leaned into his side. She was so, so happy that an apprentice had picked him, in fact she was practically beaming. She knew her mate struggled with self confidence and having a kit pick him as their mentor, the leader's kit no less, would maybe help him realize just how great a cat she knew he was.
"Congratulations, Carnagepanic! You two will make a great pair," She said loudly, then turned her head and whispered in his ear, "And it's good practice for when we have a littler of our own to look after in the future." Cleaver

Fatepaw gently shook his head and jumped on Darksonata's back as he tried to get away. "Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease? I'll be good, quiet, and attentive! You can ask my mom, I can do all of those things."
Right. Right, he could do this. Practice for their own litter.
"Right, okay," Carnagepaw mewed nervously. "Um, thanks for choosing me, Vividpaw, and I'll try and teach you what I know."
A test daughter. Someone to love and teach and treasure and hope to the Sun God that she didn't die before he did. What if she died while she was his apprentice? What if it was his fault? What if he wasn't a good enough teacher and she rushed into battle? Would Littlestar kill him? What would happen to Valleyrose?
The brief confidence he felt melted away and a look of horror soon filled his eyes, at which point the calico tom turned and fled from the camp.
Valleyrose's tail felt suddenly very cold as her mate ripped himself away and made a break for the Clan's exit. It took a lot of self restraint to not tear off after him, but she had little Vividpaw looking up at her with wide confused eyes, so she had to make something up.
"Carnagepanic has a... a...." She wracked her brain for an excuse for his escape, "... a bladder problem. When he has to go, he has to go. Please don't mention it to him, he's very embarrassed about it. He'll be back soon I hope."
"Oh... Okay," Vividpaw wasn't totally buying it. After all, she was born and raised in the High Priestess's den and had never seen Carnagepanic come for medical attention, but she decided to believe it for now, "How often does this happen?"
"Not very often," Valleyrose hurried replied, getting to her feet, "Now if you don't mind, I've got... something important to do."
And with that the calliby she-cat hurried after her mate, "Carnagepanic, what's wrong? I thought you'd be happy that you had an apprentice and that I wanted kits... but it doesn't have to be anytime soon... I'm sorry to put you on the spot like that!"

Walking around Vibrantpaw wasn't sure whom to choose until she walked into someone. "Oh hey doy you want to be my mentor...?" The sje cat wasn't sure her name but was now wanting this cat to be her's. (Spellmania Honeystorm?)
Lifepaw was always late to everything and never on time to anything. It would make sense that the young tom would be late to his own apprentice ceremony. At the mention of picking a mentor he began to stress. He hadn't planned ahead or thought about who would be his mentor. So he did the sensible thing and picked the warrior closet to him. His first introduction was a slightly enthusiastic kick to the shin. "Can you be my mentor please !!" He put on the adorable kitten eyes with a big grin.
racer (surprise me?? not sure who it pick from your list of characters xD )

Honeysplash hadn't really been paying attention to the ceremonies, he had been spending a lot of time in SwiftClan as a ray lately but had returned for a little while to check in on his grand-kits and kits. The little flame-point siamese was just about to make his exit when he suddenly found himself faced with a young cat asking to be his apprentice. The two cats were nearly the same size, and it was only the colorful paints on his pelt that distinguished him as a warrior "Well, sure kid" @dot
