Heavypetal accompanies Firetooth and Fawnpaw to the moon creek to find some answers for the clan and why they are having such a terrible time. While they're there he gains insight into their connection to starclan and gains his nine lives before they set on their journey to a new home JadieGidgetGal It had been decided. In the middle of the night as the whole camp rose, stirred by what seemed to be a wave of nightmares, Heavypetal had decided it was time to search for the answers that had yet to come. With Fawnpaw and Firetooth journeying to the mooncreek, it would be unwise to not accompany them, both for their protection, but also to be able to bring back the answers that his clan needed. He couldn't bear to watch them suffer like this, he was only hopeful that this trip would go smoothly and end well.
He waited near the exit for the other two, his tail tip twitching nervously. He hadnt traveled this far of a distance since before he came to the clan. It was relieving but concerning all the same. He shuffled his paws in the soft sand below, looking over each of his claws to make sure he was ready for anything.
Fawnpaw approached Heavypetal, her father, Firetooth, notably absent. She had a sort of strained look on her face haven't clearly not rested well the night before, but her eyes lit up when they settled on her soon-to-be leader and she gave him a friendly smile in greeting.
"Firetooth will not be coming," She mewed simply, touching her tailt-tip to Heavypetal's shoulder, "We can talk about why later. For now, we had better get going before the sun rises. There's only a few hours left in the night."

The leader nodded, his already sullen and sunken in eyes darkening at the news of Firetooth's absence. It wasn't his call to make in the long run, but it still saddened him. It felt like everything was falling apart at this point. He wondered if it would ever return to normal. He shook out his pelt, beginning their long journey with wide strides. Happy at least that he had some company to speak to their ancestors.
The journey was long and quiet; however, by the time they arrived to MoonCreek, it seemed as if no time had passed at all. It made Fawnpaw a bit sick to her stomach, especially given how... lifeless MoonCreek was. She'd only ever seen it at Half-Moon gatherings where it was full of healers from all other groups, but not there was not a soul, living or dead, in sight outside of her and her companion.
"Have you ever been to Moon Creek before, Heavypetal?" Fawnpaw asked, breaking the heavy silence. Her voice was warm, but her gaze was distant, uneasy. She was nervous.

i posted once so if it ends up having multiple posts that are slightly off im just gonna paraphrase and hope i got it right lol
The silver tom shook his head, looking solemnly at the still waters of the Mooncreek. It was eerie in a way, yet also comforting. He laid his tail tip on his medicine cat's shoulder, hoping to help her feel some sort of ease. He gave her a small smile, though his nerves betrayed him, the anxiety clear in his faded green eyes. She was all he really had now from the cats that he knew from joining. Everyone else had dispersed themselves on the wind like passing leaves. Those that stayed had settled quietly with their families. It wasnt how it was before.
But that was okay.
"We'll be alright," he meowed calmly, approaching the edge of the waters.
"Yes, we will be," Fawnpaw agreed, sitting down in front of Moon Creek and peering into the eerily still waters. Like Heavypetal she found them soothing to a certain extent, but the potential they held was very intimidating. But she'd done this before. She shouldn't be so scared. She knew Firetooth wasn't going to be her mentor forever.
Taking a deep breath, the taupe-furred she-cat leaned forward and lapped at the water, then trembled for one second before going completely still.
(It's all good LOL - are we gonna RP the spirits or skip to after?)

(Totally up to you! Ill let you pick lol cause ive got enough dead cats for either way)
Heavypetal watched as the medicine cat neared the water, drinking some down, and then she seemed to fall into a trance, her body both stiff and at complete ease. He had never done this before. Ghosts were just make believe stories to keep kits from wandering off into the woods in the middle of the night... not things to hold conference with. He bit the inside of his cheek, but neared the she-cat, settling into a crouch next to her, he too lapping up some of the starry waters before he found himself falling into an abyss.
(Well I have 0 ghost cats that have anything to do with Swift, so you get to take the lead! Either reply with a dream or reply with the two of them waking up, do whatever sounds most fun for you <3).
