Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

» open, @ : open thread « I realize i never got around to make that ding dong ditch thread so come have fun as: kits, apprentices making trouble along the borders: Darknesspaw, need more moonclan warrior(s) trying to stop them: Lilysoul non-moonclan warrior(s) who hear them: need some
inspired by: video link The kits/apprentice can choose which border/clan they're causing trouble at, I don't have atm I just like the idea of some kits/cats making noises and when another clans warrior/patrol starts to find them like "hey you hear voices?" And an apprentice just /bangs paw on hollow log and fooking books it The idea of grown warriors for no reason trying to hide/run in the panic get me every time
-
Lilysoul could've sworn she hear voices; the she-cat just wanted a quiet place to relax after studying and take her mind off work for once. She missed her chance as a painted sister and didn't want to get her hopes up for something more recent - why did she always feel like she was competing with her brothers? Or maybe she didn't know what to do with her life still. She was an adult now, a role model and if she was around the younger cats for too long even the apprentices could call her out on being an adult who more on the level of being an over-grown kit who didn't know what she doing half the time. She could care less about her family dynamic if she could just be a respectable teacher and role model to someone a 'yes ms. teach' and not a 'okay sub-for-the-day-we-address-by-first-name'. She definitely had her father's pride that's for sure.
Lilysoul exhaled a sigh as she tried to pinpoint those pesky voices and listen in and hopefully find out what those voices were up to.

Darknesspaw snickered as he continued to bang his paw on the hollow log. Normally this wasn't his jam but he was both bored and looking for trouble. He was the best as whatever he did so today he decided he wanted to be the best as causing as much trouble or chaos as possible. The young cat had no fear of getting into trouble because he didn't think he would get caught. He was just too good. So the grey and white tom cat continued his shenanigan's without a worry in his mind.

She stayed low under shrubbery, her brown patched tabby fur could easily give her away in all this greenery. She didn't hear any other voices or sounds so it must just be only this cat - those pelt colors narrowed it down. A strong contrast, was it gray or black? Aside from her black and white tabby kin which was even easier to rule out on pattern alone, that shorten her list of suspects to a few. The closer she got, and longer she looked the more sure she was. In fact, there was less than a paw-full of cats she could think of with gray fur. She waited for the right moment and while he was distracted smacking away on some log and making a bunch of racket, she quietly and quickly closed the distance.
"What do you think you're doing?" the voice demanded.

"What me? Oh nothing at all. Just being a good little apprentice and...testing out this log. Oh yes yes....you know termites are just a terrible infestation that can couse trouble for pests and therefore us." He smacked the log a bit longer then stopped. "Hmm oh yes it seems this log in particular is just fine. That should be wonderful news for us then!" He gave and innocent look to the she cat. "Last I checked there wasn't anything rule breaking about hitting on some wood. It isn't hurting anyone or anything like that."

/ Hmm oh yes it seems this log in particular is just fine. / The brown patched tabby had a doubtful look that increasingly evolved until she had a raised brow and a wry grimace at the bad acting, if not the worst acting she come across from an apprentice to date. (https://youtu.be/kDSIswxTl0E?t=310 )
"Alright, look kid I'll go easy on you if you rat out any other of yours friends you got running around here. No body needs our clan starting stuff with anyone else - especially since i heard there was a run in or something with WinterClan." she mumbled the last part, knowing apprentices were just too young to care about the sensitivities of politics and were mostly just out for themselves, caught up in the whole young and dumb thrill of life or whatever. Heck, some weekends she still lowkey got wild but it was about moderation.
"I didn't say anything about breaking any rules.. yet. Defensive today aren't we?" She lamented, confident she did in fact got a little trouble maker on her paws and she would put it end to it before any more damage could be done.

The tom shrugged, "Not defensive but I saw the look on your face and lets be honest it would seem odd to anyone else that I would be hitting a log like this at random, but alas it's the job I was tasked with. And since I was given this task there is no else here but me. A loooot of hard work but what needs to be done needs to be taken care of. Termites are truly nasty." Darknesspaw could tell his answer wasn't convincing her but he would go down the the ship he made.

"Uh-huh, riiiight" the she-cat didn't seem to believe the first part, and she couldn't fathom why he was doing such nonsense but she hadn't heard another apprentice scampering around so he must be on a solo mission. Or those little brats were that good at hiding. Either way getting at least one of them was good enough and should scare the others off if they hadn't already run away.
"So mister termite-inspector just when was the last time you saw termites? Surely you would know, or I guess I could ask Ravenstar and maybe he could tell when and just who was assigned to 'termite-duty'." She had a smug little smile to go with her little threat to rally put the heat on the apprentice now. She might not be one for interrogation but on apprentices or kits? They would crack so easy if you just stared at them and put the slightest of pressure.

If she thought Darknesspaw was going to cave anytime soon she was sorely mistaken. "Well as it so happens I saw termites about roughly a week or so ago and I was asked to keep an eye out for them. I don't have to give away my source of whom it was and last I checked you weren't my mentor. It's interesting you have nothing better to do than harass an ever so innocent apprentice for doing his job. If you have nothing better to do than join me." Some of the info was true, he had seen some termites but more towards the border they shared with one of the other clans and not here. She didn't need to know that but hey some info was better than no info.

"I- I do have very important things to do!" she stammered at the disrespect and even scoffed. For being the adult here she still managed to mirror his childish attitude. "And if I wanted to join you, I will not because I don't have anything better to do but because termites can be very useful for patients. They're very nutritious, fatty, and high calorie for any cat especially those feeling fatigue, loss of appetite or just need to put on weight or maintain it like for nursing mothers... even if they don't exactly taste good... "she mumbled the last part with a glance away not personally liking them herself either. "And ...I'm not so sure I can trust you to take this job seriously enough so I'm going to supervise." she circled back to the main point putting on a subtle proud smile for pulling that one out of her a- i mean out of thin air.

(pffft XD Uno reverse card)
Hmpf, that did not go as expected. Darknesspaw was quick to think before coming up with something. "Oh so you are a new self appointed supervisor, eh? Well if you do wish to supervise maybe perhaps you make sure I am doing a good job. Take a look at my work to see if there are any termites. Surely if I was doing a bad job there would be some here, and would be bad at reporting any in this area. However if I was doing a great job then there wouldn't be any here in this spot. There are still other locations to check but surely my job is in fact going well. Perhaps so well I wouldn't need a -ahem- supposed self appointed supervisor. Seems like you are the one wanting to waste time instead of doing something productive." Now the tom gave a small smirk to his remark.

( lmaooo he thought she was getting a +2 but she sent it right back with another +2 xD )
"So if you're doing a good, sorry - great job I wouldn't notice you? And if I fired you from this luxury job of wandering about all alone - I also wouldn't notice you?" Lilysoul and Darknesspaw rn "Well then, by all means don't let me stop you. Please continue your... wood smacking test or whatever it is. Since you've been doing this all along you must have some process so ...do it." she dared him to continue and if he had some boring termite process then she probably get bored and leave but all it would take is a few moments of him 'trying' to do a job that didn't exist and she could call him out on it, or so she believed.
