Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The sudden flood of the camp and most of the territory had forced SpringClan to take shelter by the mountain path. It was frequented by Forest Clan cats coming to and from the Mountain Clans back to their own territories.
It was to be SpringClan's sanctuary as they pulled themselves together.
Make shift dens had been thrown together. Mostly just some caverns that were as close to the water fall as they dared to go after the scare with all the water that flooded the camp.
Unfortunately as Jetstar surveyed her clan as they emerged from the makeshift dens she could tell that there were cats missing. They would need to do search and rescue once the waters receded.
"Let all cats of SpringClan gather by this tall rock." Jetstar declared before hopping up onto said tall rock.
As her clan gathered around her, Jetstar sighed. "Cats of SpringClan, we have endured an event we couldn't have foreseen. It was thanks to everyone's actions and pulling together that we were able to make it here."
"I know some cats are missing." She went on, able to already see cats glancing around noting missing family or friends. "But since the rain has stopped we must move."
"I don't know if the waters will have receded from our camp yet. That is what I will take a patrol to go check immediately along with try and see who we can find who might need our help."
"In the meanwhile I will need some cats to work to make this space inhabitable. This will be our home in the interim and it is essential we do what we can to establish barriers to protect ourselves." Jetstar meowed.
"Will we... seek out help from our allies?" Maskedknight queried.
"That depends if I can discern what caused the flooding. As we were up hill from water. For the water to back up that badly.... foul play isn't out of the question as we were stuck in camp grieving Fawnheart." Jetstar added.
"But I'll need volunteers to accompany back to our camp. I'll need a patrol to try and circle the borders. But! Not take any risks."
"And then I'll need some cats to help Sakurapaw get this space set up to serve as our base in the interim." Jetstar added looking at the medicine cat. Wincing as she realized she still had yet to go with Sakurapaw to get her name. Still had yet to promote many of the young cats as the rains had been so harsh they hadn't been able to do much.
Her clan was starving and she needed to act. So act she would.
First try to get things in motion, then get to work on the other matters.

"Use me as you will, Jetstar," called Blackberry, licking the disheveled fur on his chest flat. His coat was a frizzy mess from the humidity and time he had spent waterlogged. It would take a moon if not more to get his coat back in a well kempt manner. But the large to had a job to do, and was able and willing. If any services were needed, he would be the one to provide.
Brokenfeather on the other hand wasnt so able-bodied, but the elder-by-title was always willing to help make dens. Being cozy again was something he was looking foreward to. Sleeping on leaf piles hadnt helped his aching joints by any means.
Jetstar nodded, pleased with Blackberry stepping up. "Good, you'll accompany me back towards camp Blackberry," She said.
She glanced around considering them all. "If there are jobs you specifically want to take up, whether accompanying me to investigate, hunting for the clan or setting up this camp in the interim come forwards. Otherwise Goldengriffon and I will assign roles to you." She said.
She didn't want to drag out cats into the territory if they didn't want to after all.
Sakurapaw tossed Jetstar a glance that she hoped conveyed reassurance; it had been one thing after another since the snake had attacked her mentor. As it was, she was simply running on autopilot, just trying to keep up.

Though he had only just returned to the home of his family, and admittedly the only place he felt where he genuinely belonged, the black tom was quick to jump and be of aid to Jetstar and his chosen family.
“If I can be of service in any way, I will happily volunteer myself.” Stygian claimed solemnly. “If you’d like an extra set of paws at your side, Jetstar.”
—
Vermilionpaw tilted his chin up, expression determined but proud, golden eyes betraying his eagerness. “My siblings and I can hunt and help build dens. We aren’t so incapable as to be unable to do at least that.”
At his side, Serpentinepaw silently nodded. Zengarden and Septariadragon tossed their children soft looks, pleased they were taking the situation as seriously as they were.

Zidian sat behind Madame Ziyuan, stomach clenched into knots. She had been trained and prepared for any and every threat except nature herself. She shook her head a bit. Perhaps after what they’ve gone through, they’ll know what to expect next time. The bengal she-cat glanced at the tom at her master’s side, Madame Ziyuan’s son, Riverlotus.
Jetstar nodded graciously to Stygian, "Then you and Blackberry will join my patrol to cheek on camp," She meowed.
Softpelt moved to sit down beside Sakurapaw. "I can help Sakurapaw run things in camp," She offered to Jetstar who nodded.
The fluffy white she cat turned to Sakurapaw, and rested her tail on the medicine cat apprentices shoulder a sympathetic expression on her face. ѕнαdow✩
The leader seemed pleased with her clan's willingness to move into action. "Vermillionpaw, you and the other apprentices can go out as long as a warrior is with you, this much water is new to even the most experienced cats, I don't want anyone winding up in more than they can handle."
She glanced around, spotting Wolfsgrin. "Wolfsgrin why don't you accompany the apprentices to hunt?" She asked uniqcrim
Stygian nodded his head once, expression determined while butterflies filled his stomach. He was just happy to be of use to his clan and his leader.
The white medicine cat glanced up at Softpelt, gratitude in her gaze, and smiled softly though it didn't remotely reach her eyes, looking back at Jetstar and nodding along with Softpelt's words. Surely between the both of them they wouldn't run themselves ragged.
Vermilionpaw hummed and nodded curtly, though inwardly he was bothered by the idea of not being able to go out on his own. He was incredibly independent; however, considering he was a newly promoted apprentice, he figured it was only common sense.
