Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Honeystorm Dawnbringer had been rather quiet lately. Really, that's nothing unusual. He already barely talked to anyone when he didn't need to, and everyone knew that his mood had plummeted after Duskveil's disappearance. Recently, however, he didn't seem that upset anymore, just... quiet. In reality, he had been lost in his own thoughts. He still had to veil the contempt in his eyes in front of Aspenstar, but it seemed like something in the dark brown tabby.
At some point, while he was deep in his contemplation, he had left the cenote and was much closer to the hot springs than camp. It was almost surprising that he didn't trip over anything or run into anyone on his way here - not that he would have really noticed it anyway.

Inversely, Pinesimmer seemed to be in a rather... personable mood as of late. At least, compared to how he was prior to the accusation of attempting to murder Aspenstar. He hadn't ended up pissing off his sister to the point she wanted him dead, and to top it off, the tom actually did decent at his job of healing. Perhaps it had something to do with hanging out with Eshek, or maybe the lanky legged brown medicine cat had finally found a heart.
"Fairly certain you'd walk off a cliff about now if I let you." Who knew how long he'd been walking beside Dawnbringer before talking. Maybe he'd been hoping the other tom WOULD walk off a cliff, or at the very least wasn't about to stop it. "Didn't realize you'd traded your brain for rocks, but being around my sister will do that to you."
The voice shocked Dawnbringer, and he slightly tilted his head to get a look at Pinesimmer. How long had the tom been there? He was right though, he really did need to pay more attention. With a light shake of his head, he cleared his thoughts, focusing on his current surroundings.
Typically, he kept his hatred and mistrust of the leader a secret, hidden under carefully controlled expressions and words. He was sure that Aspenstar already knew of his feelings, but did Pinesimmer? "She does have that affect. Luckily, I don't tend to spend too much time around her. Imagine, I could be so much worse right now." He gave a fake shudder, as if thinking about it. Then, he narrowed his eyes slightly, "How long have you been there?"

"Long enough that, I can pretty much prove what I already knew: Aspenstar doesn't know how to pick a good guard, and really only chooses cats based on attractiveness." Pinesimmer answered bluntly, blinking at Dawnbringer. It was a double edged sword, both insulting the tom and calling him good looking in the same breath.
