Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Or, well, as perfect as the young tom could make it. He still wasn't good at this whole romance thing, but he wanted tonight to be special. Servalpaw had meant to wait until they were older, he really had. His own promotion had been looming for what seemed like moons, and Celestialpaw wasn't too far behind him. Surely, he thought, he should wait until they were both warriors to make things official. The longer their respective promotions were, though, the harder it was to see himself without her. He spent as much time as he possibly could next to her; the whole clan knew it was only a matter of time before the duo crossed the gap between dating and committing.
When a kittypet friend of his told him that there was something called a meteor shower going to happen tonight, he knew that it was time. Flowers decorated the place they came on their first date, perfectly picked. He licked his shoulder fur nervously. Now, all that was left was to wait for her to appear...
Celestialpaw had felt like Servalpaw seemed off all day, and it made her heart sink to her belly. SHe had felt like everything had gone well, perfect even, up to this point. She couldn't place a paw on why the tom couldn't seem to look her in the eye that day, as he asked her to go to their first date spot. The young apprentice had made her way up the side of the mountain, hoping she'd found the way herself. Celestialpaw had never gone without Servalpaw before.
As she padded into the clearing, the sweet smell of flowers hitting her nose. Her gaze softened as she saw the tom, nervousness of him breaking things off disappearing from her belly. Celestailpaw purrs and runs over to him, headbutting him lightly along his jaw. "It's so beautiful over here." she smiles, breaking the embrace to get a good look.
"I hoped you'd like it," he meowed with an awkward blush. He couldn't help himself; Celestialpaw was the one cat in the clan that could make the tom blush. "I was afraid you would think it was lame," he admitted, kicking the dirt in front of him. "I'm glad you don't," he then finished, his tail entwining with hers. Everything felt so right when they were together. How was he supposed to wait?
"I hear there's something special supposed to happen in the sky tonight, which's why I wanted to bring ya out here," he meowed, taking his eyes off the she-cat for the first time since she made an appearance. "From what I've been told, the stars are going to shoot across the sky! I suppose it'll be real pretty, but not as pretty as you," he continued with a wink.
