Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
These are the kits of Cloudywinter and Flickeringflames who were paired together as an arranged marriage. Now Cloudywinetr will tell you she's a pureblood straight female who wants a large family and to make the clan proud. But she hasn't yet realized she's falling in love with her assigned mate and thinks they're just best friends still. Meanwhile Flickeringflames is going to learn she's not as pureblooded as she originally thought, which was a point that Cloudywinter was grateful for when they first learned they were to be married. The two agreed to have kits, because Cloudywinter desperately wanted them but didn't want to disgrace herself with a divorce before having kits (she's very proper and cares what other cats think, so reputation is a big thing for her). Flickeringflames suggested a surrogate. They ended up choosing Vividrapture, a pureblood WinterClan tom who has recently disappeared with the rest of his family.
So lots of light hearted drama to unfolded still yet and you get to be a part of it all!
Cloudywinter - Bio mom, has family in the clan, pao Flickeringflames - married to Cloudy and their other mom, has a brother in the clan, Nova Vividrapture - bio dad, him and his whole family are missing, pao
Kits: Goldenstorm / racer - female, strong independent, what’s no kits ever in life, can’t stand children, genuine, crass, pessimistic and loyal to a fault. She loves her parents and her family and is expressive in that love but can’t stand the idea of having kits. She’d go for a mate or two but no children of her own. Wanderingbear / open - female, supportive, kind, talkative, never knows when to jot speak her mind, she is a curious thing always disappearing in search of more information. She values intelligence in others and can’t stand when they chose to be ignorant. Like her oldest sister, Goldenstorm, she is loyal to a fault and loves her family. But unlike her she actually like skits as they see the world in a completely different way then adults do. They fascinate her. pin.it/7WPBUmv
Glacialwind / Uniqcrim - female, judge mental, sarcastic, sweet, eloquent, and elegant, she’s the only kit out of her litter that stands up to her families old fashion values and wants to follow them, she a princess and brat at times but thinks more on duty than desire, which means she’ll definitely want a pure blooded mate and kits to carry on the family line, ladylike and religious as can be. Loves her mother’s but struggles with understanding how her birth mother could stay with a non pureblooded cat as her mate. pin.it/6TgvJcI
Doveflurry / Nova - female the youngest and the sweetest of the litter, she naive and easily startled, loves to join Wanderingbear on her outings for knowledge and to soar with Goldenstorm, argues constantly with Glacialwind as she believes in finding true love and true love only and refuses to settle for anything less, thinks her mother’s are the most adorable thing especially their love story, has a temper, will fight alone who hates on another for who they love, super supportive, talkative, easily lied too, overly trustworthy pin.it/bz6iT0s

Cloudywinter was awoken in the middle of the night to birthing pains. The labor was long and hard, dealing far into the morning, but the kits were finally here. Grateful prayers were sent up for healthy kits and safe mom, tears of joy and happiness were spilled as the newly named kits were presented to their family.

Flickeringflames was by no means calm. In fact, she was a raving mess the moment she found out her wife had finally gone into labor. The warrior had all but torn through the warrior's den, earning loud shrieks of protest. But of course, they fell on deaf ears. The russet-pelted she-cat had wanted to go into the nursery and help Cloudywinter anyway she could, but decided it was better to wait outside of the den after the first yowl. After all she did want to meet the kits with all appendages in tack. But when it was finally over, she slowly made her way into the den and towards Cloudywinter.
Exhausted but proud, the new mom practically perked up at the sight of her terrified mate stepping into the den. “Come here, love. Come say hi.” It was spoken softly with a pur in the mix, but kind of a whisper too. They’d discussed names before of course. A bunch of names had been chosen but you didn’t really know what to call the kit until they were here. Once Flickeringflames was close enough, the tired mom pointed to each and introduced them to their mama.

Flickeringflames made her way into the nursery slowly, inching closer to Cloudywinter and their new kits.
"Oh wow..." Flickeringflames murmured as she crouched down besides them. "They're so tiny... are they okay? Are they healthy? Are you okay? Did they give you a hard time? Are they supposed to be that small?"
The copper-colored warrior didn't mean to ask so many questions at once, but she could hardly stop them as they spilled from her lips
A giggle and a wince, but other than that all was good. Cloudywinter waved her mate closer, "we're all fine. And yes, Roseshade already looked them over with Amberbird and Blackapw, they're all healthy and a good size." She too had worried about their tiny size having never seen kits when they were newborns, but she had relaxed with the three healers confirming it was fie. Well, really with Amberbird, the more experienced of the three, confirming all was well.
