Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Bloodpaw was sitting off to the side of the camp, where he could usually be found for those who dared look for the ginger tom. His current attention was currently focused on the mouse he was currently eating. Though like usual his senses were always on high alert. His pointed ears occasionally flicking as the distant sounds of chatting and the sounds of nature flooded them. While he ate he briefly thought about the idea of changing up his current 'spot'. Too many cats had figured out where to find him, and it was honestly becoming an issue to the tom who preferred to be alone. He didn't really mind his siblings knowing his whereabouts, but on the other hand, both his mentor and the Janus were now starting to seek out the flaming tom. He huffed before he went in for another bite of the mouse his irritation causing his eyes to narrow as he chewed.
It didn't take long for Lovepaw to seek out his brother, not when he continued going to the same place in his free time. It wasn't that he paticularly needed something from his brother, but he made it a habit to check in with each of his siblings very often. He felt a strong need to protect them, to make sure they were happy. Togather they had done some unimaginable to most, but it had only brought them closer.
His own auburn fur glimmered as he steppped into the light, his blonde freckles highlighted under his eyes. "There you are" he purred as he approached. It only took a glance for him to determine that something was bothering him.
The ginger tom's fur seemed to tingle as he felt the presence of someone approaching. He softly grumbled through his chewing before he cast his penny copper gaze upward to look at who was interrupting him. Again. At the sight of one of his brothers, Bloodpaw gave a low snort before he continued eating his vole. Debating on whether or not he'd get away with ignoring Lovepaw, but coming to the conclusion that he'd more than likely stay there and annoy him till Bloodpaw finally paid attention to him. He swallowed his mouthful of food before he looked bac towards his sibling with a bored flat look, the same tone in his eyes matching his voice when he spoke. "What do you want?"
"Nothing really, just wanted to check on my brother" he replied with a cheerful smile and a little wink. In stark contrast to Bloodpaw, Lovepaw was rather cheerful and sociable, some would even say that he was full of himself.
Their mother's death had affected them all in their own way, even the seemingly unaffected Lovepaw. "And it is a good thing that I did" he sighed shaking his head "Your like an open book Bloodpaw, now tell me what's on your mind"
Bloodpaw couldn't stifle the eye roll at his brother's words. The cheerful exterior of Lovepaw left an almost bitter taste on his tongue. There were times were he wondered to himself if maybe they should have thrown him in the water alongside their monster of a mother. At Lovepaw's latter words, he snorted once again. He shifted from his prone position to a seated one his gaze never leaving Lovepaw. "You realllllly wanna know, brother?" he asked quirking a furred brow.
"I already know that you would rather I leave you alone and jump into a lake somewhere. No surprises there" he chuckled, finding his brother's disdain for his presence rather humorous, instead of allowing it to bother. His brother probably wished that he would just disapear, but he was his brother like it or not. Blood meant a lot to him, and he wasn't going to just go away because his brother wished him to.
"Now tell me what is really bothering you" there was not much the tom could say that would get under his skin. Bloodpaw had murdered someone? Ok where is the body, let me help you cover it up. Bloodpaw was in love with someone? OK who are they, and why do they think they would ever be good enough for you?
Bloodpaw's ears twitched as Lovepaw seemingly read his mind. That was one of the things the ginger tom disliked about his brother. He always just /knew/. Any other cat would have p[robably found this a good quality, but the tom just found it annoying. He shifted on his paw's before he let out a deep sigh. Bloodpaw was never one for words, not like his other siblings who seemed to be all gifted with a silver tongue. He preferred to show his inner thoughts through actions and stares. Nothing got the point across better than a well-aimed swipe of a paw or a stone cold glare. Coming to the realization that he wouldn't get any peace if he didn't at least humour his brother. He gave in.
"I just want to be alone" he voiced his tail tip twitching. "But, no matter where I go, someone, always finds me. It's annoying. Can't a cat just sleep in peace and waste the day away anymore." It seemed kind of childish now that Bloodpaw had said it aloud. But, it was true. He just wanted somewhere to be alone and just... Be.
Lovepaw tilted his head to the side as his brother spoke, Bloodpaw had always been aloof. Even as kit, Bloodpaw had kept to himself, although he did allow his siblings to be around more than most. "Unfortunatley that is part of being a clan, a trade off"
The young tom smiled a little "Though their is a rather simple solution to your problem brother. In SunClan it is not forbidden to travel outside of our boarders. Perhaps you could find a little sancuary of your own out there. It will make it more difficult for your clan-mates to find you, and perhaps you can get a little peace" it was a reasonable solution, especially for a cat that could handle themselves, and the dangers that traveling out of their territory posed
