Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. She had been in such a terrible mood since her mother's passing, and really there was only one thing that made her feel better: DOING MAKEOVERS.
Sure Commander Shule was an Ugly Face Meany, but something that her best friend had told her had prompted this little session. He said that "If you can make me look good, you can make anyone good." She was doing being afraid of the commander, and she was going to turn the monster hiding around ever corner into something a little bit more bearable.
She had everything she needed. A pool of warm water, clean moss for scrubbing the dirt away, stones to files her nails on, sliced cucumber to put on her eyes, a mud mask, leaves to dry her fur with, body paint, ribbons, and most important of all, GLITTER. You couldn't be a princess without glitter. All she needed now was to get the commander down her in her secret chamber, but how?
A grin spread across her face, taking in a deep breath a letting out a loud scream that echoed through the tunnels "COMMANDER SHULE, THERE IS A MONSTER IN MY DEN" Honeystorm

Too bad, so sad, Shule didn't show first. Arei did, probably cause Shule was still having Southpaw watched. Or maybe Arei just really wanted to be there to watch the Cadet fail. "You're very loud for a liar."

You know the saying, putting paint on a pig didn’t make them any prettier, but sun god beware she was going to try.
The Initial look of dismay when it wasn’t Shule that showed waning. “But there is a monster in my den, I’m looking right at them” she stared the she-cat down unflinchingly “But since you are, you might as well join me to. Just be quiet, it’s supposed to be a surprise for Shule”

The she-cat laughed, peering down at Southpaw from her nose. "Shule isn't coming." Arei answered with a sick sort of pleasure into her tone. "She's quite busy after all. And if you scream again, I'm just gonna shut you up, since you're a living breathing menace to society."

“And your a stupid monster, don’t tell me what to do” she retorted, pushing past the she-cat and into the tunnel to go and find the commander. Arei wasn’t her target any way and if she wanted to be mean and throw her invitation in her face then she would just I invite her. Yeah that’s what she was going to do. “I didn’t want you to come any way, this was all for Shule. I was trying to be nice and invite you to, but if you want to act like that your not invited any more”

"Cool, didn't wanna be. You're not gonna find Shule though." Arei seemed fairly confident in this assertion, though she didn't actually explain why. Which meant it could be anything, or she could be lying. Who knew. "'Least not before dark."

Southpaw rolled her eyes “Then I will do her make over after dark….” She mumbled something under he breath, something the might have even made the cruel hearted Aeri have a little sympathy for the apprentice if she had heard it properly “But that’s not going to stop me from searching. So just go back to whatever tunnel you crawled out of and leave me alone”
