Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Well... that's good at least," she meowed, flicking her tail slightly as she narrowed her eyes into slits. "Well, perhaps not the daft part. That might be less than ideal, but to each their own."
She let out a sigh, rubbing her paw to her forehead. The cats in her clan, and apparently the clans around her, gave her a headache. This was an excellent example of why, and she could feel a migraine start to spread from the back of her head. She glanced to the SunClan warrior, and then to Stormreign, and then back again.
"Since he's...." she paused, tilting her head. Now that Hakoda was confirmed to be not-dead, perhaps it was best not to speak of him like he wasn't in her camp? It was tempting to just ignore the large tom, but that was rude, and Aspenstar was ... trying to get better about being rude to outsiders. Not that that had gotten her very far before; for a moment, she thought of Rosethorn, reminded all too intimately of the chaos that ensued when you were kind to those that didn't reside in the Cenote.
"Since you're," she corrected, "not dead, dare I ask the two of you what the hell is going on?"

Darksonata blinked, but didn't answer the nightclan leader.
The only sign that he had heard her at all, a slight forward flicking of his ear. This was Stormreign's clan, and he was more than happy to allow the other tom to take the lead where his clan-mates were concerned. Especially if that meant he didn't have to talk to these strangers. So he sat in silence, staring at Aspenstar with his unnerving blue gaze. Cleaver
Stormreign kept one eye on Hakoda, curious at his sudden silence. He had been reserved since the moment they met, but not silent: he used as few words as he needed to make his point and no more. He wondered if the silence now was a sign that he was on guard and letting Stormreign take the lead. Well, he had no problem with playing the noble savior today.
Turning back to Aspenstar, he measured her with a glance and made his decision. "My friend here came to visit. He's never seen the falls before, and I always thought they were easiest to see in the sunlight than under the cover of night." Stormreign shrugged. "Then he decided it was a good idea to take a swan dive to the bottom of the river, and that's where you came in."

So that is the story Stormreign wanted to go with....
"Bad choice" he shrugged turning to Stormreign with a serious expression, trying to back up what the tom was saying to his leader. After all it wasn't exactly a lie, it had been a bad choice to run blindly through unknown territory. However, he had been determined to show off and win the race. Perhaps he would have won, if only he had went in the right direction. @ian Cleaver
