Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Beetleboo had just set off a prank, one carefully laid and constructed. The nursery was now an array of color, dusted with flower petals of all kinds and bird feathers he'd spent months collecting. It was an explosion of chaos. All the kits were loving it though! Even if the den was overflowing. Now he just needed somewhere to hide while all the mothers finished being made that he'd disrupted nap time with his prank. Running through camp, the tom tried for an escape, but where to?

"Did you see the Nursey? It's stuffed to the brim with petals and feathers" Lilysoul gossiped to her brother as he entered camp, she herself having arrived just long enough ago to hear and see it for herself.
"No, so what? Did you sit on a feather or something?" the tom shrugged as they blocked the entrance from being an easy escape whilst they chatted.
"No - I was trying to help at first but the wind draft kept breezing them back in. I was gonna look for you or dad or anyone else to come help gather them."
"Hey!" Firekit meowed to Beetleboo loudly, revealing that the interior designer had unknowingly had a fan following him when he finished decorating the nursery, "You must have killed a really big bird to get so many feathers!! How did you manage it!?" pao

Diamonddust wasn't far from her son although she didn't make any movements to intervene with his conversation with Beetleboo. Honestly she was just enjoying the pleasant weather and felt a sense of peace she hadn't felt in a long time.
"Lilysoul and Enigmasoul," She said, head turned toward them but eyes closed, "Don't worry about the stray feathers, no doubt Firekit will try to collect them all later anyway. How about you come over here and relax with me instead for just a minute?" ѕнαdow✩
Startled, Bettleboo jumped a foot in the air before whipping around to face his little stalker. "Where'd you come from?!" He looked around, hoping no one else was following him as well. If this kit had caught him, he was so dead. His sister was probably next, or at least already on his trail after the prank he pulled.

"Eh?" the siblings echoed the same sound at their names being called and turning in sync to Diamond-dust. "Oh are you sure?" Lilysoul questioned at the motion to disregard the clean up or rather leave it all to one kit. The pair looked at each other wordless unsure about abandoning the clean up, and the request to instead relax which felt like it could be seen as 'slacking off' when there was a mess to clean and always work to be done by able warriors. With a shrug from Enigmaheart, he led the way for the contrasting tabbies to comply with her insistence.
"I take it you're trying to tire the little kit out by dinner time huh?" Enigmaheart mused.
"I came from my mama, obviously! But not matter how many times I ask she won't tell me how she got me. Do you know where kits come from?" Firekit asked, cocking his head at Bettleboo, big blue eyes shinign brightly.

Diamonddust chuckled at her son's question, happy that for once it was not direct to her, then turned her face toward Lilysoul.
"I'm sure it's fine," She insisted. The auburn-furred queen was completely blind and had no idea how many feathers were really strewn about, "I just wanted some company. It gets a bit boring since no one else really visits me. StarClan knows where Firekit's father is, he's certainly not here..."

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that - though he has has an entire family with MoonClan itself." She reassured as she seated herself and wrapped her tail around her paws ever so neatly. Enigmaheart looked like he was going to say something for a second and Lilysoul squinted at him predicted something brash and dumb like,
"oh yeah? so then where-" Enigmaheart was rudely cut off by Lilysoul giving a hard elbow nudge into his side, don't toms ever think before speaking? Just as she thought: he was baout to say something dumb like 'oh yeah, then where is he?' She didn't know if her brother was just rude or nosey, ... or just in default mode and about to ask if she was single. Enigmaheart looked frustrated at her for the interruption but seemed to think about it, and it must not have been worth it as he shrugged, his previous question ignored and now his second question vetoed out he remained quiet for a pause, rubbing a paw over his arm where his sister struck and revised his change in topic.
"Where do you think they got all these feathers anyhow? Looks like some plucked a dozen different birds for this..." he glanced around one more time better describing the imagery for her as she couldn't.

Diamonddust had never seen a bird before she went blind; thus, she didn't really conceptualize the number of feathers on bird would have. Still, she was smart enough to know that a dozen was a lot, and her ears flicked back in embarrassment.
"Oh, is the mess really that bad? I didn't mean to interrupt your duties," She said, her voice a bit hurried but still confident. She used to be a nervous wreck of a cat and in moments like this when she was caught off guard, it really showed, "I can busy myself with something else if you don't have time to chat."

"Oh no it's fine, I'm sure if they do need help Enigmaheart has nothing to do later" the brown patched tabby threw a knowing smirk to her brother aware he just came back from his last duty for the today.
"Nah, on second thought it's not even a pawful of feathers" He contradicted himself, quick to change his tune without changing his tone, like blink-and-you'll-miss-it except with hearing. He played his pokerface quite well in moments like these, something his sister could definitely envy while she playfully rolled her eyes.
"What would you busy yourself with? If you didn't have anything duty-related to do, like a ..a hobby I mean." Lilysoul spoke up again, having to think about the word for a second.
"Before Firekit I was a Shadowhunter. My nose and hearing are sharper than most so I served as support for hunting and border patrols. I couldn't do much by myself, of course, but I like to think I was a little helpful," Diamonddust replied after a moments hesitation. She felt weird to keep talking after the two had both expressed the need to do other chores, but it seemed even more weird to turn them away now after they'd been clear about wanting to stay, "As for a hobby... Funny as it sounds, I really enjoy swimming at night. Cool, still water, to me, is like being close to the Moon Goddess. Silly, I know, but there's just something about it that feels like home and reminds me of how she used to be..."

"I'm sure you were, I mean having a cat focused just on their surroundings is a pretty good chance at catching things others might be too distracted by sight to catch." the she-cat offered her kid words; she wasn't even much of an optimist but when you spend so much time in the shadows watching the others bask in the limelight, you learn to find a positive angle no matter where you're looking from. Something about deep down in them called self-worth demanded it, after all if you didn't like a single thing about yourself then - dark as it was - they might not still be there. Course she could never tell the blind she-cat that, she just knew what to focus on and how to climb out of that way of thinking. It wasn't a hollow question either, Lilysoul really wanted to know what she was like. Did her loss of sight make her enjoy warm sunning session any less? Did she still care for the gentle touch of wildflowers' petals without ever knowing their colors?
"Swimming? At night? Eh? Sounds chilly..." the tom was very surprised about that, "But like, without seeing how do you even know where you going?" Enigmaheart heard his sister sigh and saw her roll her eyes at him being insensitive again. "No I mean like - I hate swimming in strong currents, okay?" enthusiastically pointing to himself and nodding his head at the 'okay' part, his body language proving he wasn't lying. "One strong wave and you get thrown off course or you can't control where you going, or if you go under you can get turned around - and I can see where the land is and know where I need to go but still not get any closer to it even if I try to swim a straight line. Like the ocean, heard you gotta swim diagonal to get back to land. What does that even mean?" his paw going from his head and outward in confusion clearly into the conversation at the very least. Lilysoul guess it made sense, her secretly a control freak brother hated not being in control and must of been why she rarely saw him swimming ever; but she wondered more about the who Diamonddust was talking about that her brother missed.
