Lex picked up the feathers one by one from the remnants of the hawk he and a few predators had brought back to feed the Regime some days ago. Anything that wasn’t edible would make for bedding, or use in trade, or whatever was created to help the Regime. He wasn’t sure what these would go to, but he’d probably drop at least some off by the Auxiliaries to see what they could do with them.

Unseenlights was walking through the tunnel when she could hear the ripping of feathers off of a bird. The scent told her whom it was as she made her way over to his side. The black she-cat smiled a little, despite the fresh new slashes to her face from her recent attack "A hawk? Thats a rare find for the regime" she sat down, her fluffy tail curling over her paws
"We were hunting through the rogue lands today." Lex explained, flashing Unseenlights a smile she couldn't see, though the warmth of his welcoming presence was sure to be clear enough. "Since cats traverse them less often, you're more likely to see the bigger creatures, foxes, hawks, things of that nature. We're lucky to have gotten it. Couldn't have done it without the other predator scouts."

"Interesting" unfortunately hunting was something Unseenlights didn't know a lot about. Being blind made hunting rather difficult, though she had managed to catch a few things here and there. Nothing as impressive as a hawk though "Perhaps it would be worth our while to hunt there more often if a big enough group of scouts could be arranged" she was sure that there was a reason since the Regime didn't do so already "I'm sure the regime kits and queens would appreciate the feathers for their nests. They were a life saver when Bravewolf was so sick as a kit"

"The predators do hunt in groups. Though you're right, we'd probably benefit from bigger groups, and longer expeditions." Lex agreed. "How is Damek doing? I heard he's pretty important now." The tom half chuckled at that. Though he was also concerned for his grandson.

"Stressed" she admitted reluctantly "What I wouldn't give to take that burden off his shoulders" there was nothing she could do about it. She couldn't change who her son was, no more than any mother could. She could only do her best to support him, to let him know that his family would always be there for him no matter what path he choose to walk

"He is always welcome to visit, you know. I'm sure he could use a break sometimes." Lex sighed, briefly touching his tail to her shoulder. "Having such a weight on your shoulders so young is a difficult thing, after all."
