The she cat kept running...that's all she could do. Her paws were aching, heart thumping against her chest, and unfortunately she felt herself slowing down. Lilypool turned her head seeing the fox starting to close in on her from behind The Sunclan Janus had no clue just how much lonher she could go but she had no way of getting an advantage over the fox. No where to hide, no where to climb...and soon no more energy to run. Things weren't looking good for Lilypool at all. pao
Berrybloom was out hunting and in the process of chasing a squirrel when the breeze shifted. At first, she caught SunClan's scent, then before she could figure out why the scent was familiar the scent of fox hit her. Her ears went back in alarm just as the two burst into the clearing she was at. She moved, hoping she wasn't too late and could at least get a good blow in. Claws extended and paws out, she launched herself at the fox's back. The FallClan warrior didn't care that this was a SunClan cat or that she hadn't yet placed why they looked familiar but she didn't care. A fox was a danger to all, even herself. ashestoashes

(My apologies on such a long wait, I have been such a busy bee.)
Lilypool caught a quick scent of a Fallclan cat before risking the chance of turning around to see what was going on. The fox had stopped in its tracks attempting to throw off this sharp nuisance that it could not seem to grab or see past fur. The she cat saw a blur but even from here recognized that it was Berrybloom, a she cat she had met during a blind date. As fast as her exhausted body would allow it she pushed past her limits to turn around to help take down the fox. It snarled in anger and pain as more teeth and claws came up from behind and latched itself to it's rump. The Janus was determined to inflict as much damage as she could on this predator.
Berrybloom had launched herself on to the back of the fox, trying to pin it and get in some good hits. But really she was struggling to stay on its back. Her claws were dung in to its back and her teeth clenched around the left shoulder of the fox. Right now, it was their lives or the foxes that much she was sure about. With a growl, se tried to lock eyes with her teammate, hoping they could get in a few more hits while Berrybloom tried to pin the fox.

The sunclan Janus felt the same way as Berrybloom did and gave eye contact back at the other she cat. She ran underneath the fox tripping it up in hopes of it falling leaving itself vulnerable to the two warriors. The fox wasn't a big one luckily so it wouldn't hurt as bad as possibly being stepped on by a heavy one. With that she raced around until she was facing it before running straight at the enemy diving under it's chest to flip it. Surprisingly the plan worked.
Berrybloom was thrown off with the fox being flipped buts he revived quickly and assisted in helping to pin the creature. Did they kill it or send it on its way? She’d never felt with one before and had no idea which would be better in this moment. But her hesitation was enough for the creature to swarm free and attack one last time before departing into the woods form which it came. Bruised, bleeding, but alive, the two she-cats had survived. Though, Berrybloom was now bleeding for a deep scratch above her right eye, blocking her vision of the departing fox and a mark of its parting.

Lilypool panted heavily as she watched the fox flee into the woods. She would have to remember to keep an eye out for now on for terrors like that. Foxes were now up high on her list of most disliked predators. Still she took a moment to catch her breath before walking over to the Fallclan cat. "Uh hey thank you for that...seems that dreaded beast sent me to Fallclan territory. Sorry about that but could I make that up by helping you tend to your wounds? The one above your eye is the most worrying to me." Looking closer she did recognize the other she cat...wasn't her name Berryblossom? No Berrybloom, that was definitely her name.
“Sure. Though, I haven’t seen a fox this deep into the woods before, where’d it chase you from?” The last time she’d heard about a fox in FallClan was moons ago, and like this one, it was at the edge of the territory. Personally, Berrybloom had never come across one and now she didn’t really want to deal with them in the future either. “The bleed dropped form above her eye, stinging as a bit of it got into her eye. Besides a few other scratches, she’d gotten out in one piece. “We should probably get out of here though, just in case it comes back.” Her head turned towards camp, a smart place to head towards but, Seablossom was there and Berrybloom wasn’t content on her seeing the damage from the fight just yet.

"I was out doing routinely border controls when that horrendous beast charged after me. We almost never get foxes so I have no clue why it was there. Maybe it's starving and desperate for food or just ill...which doesn't bring anymore comfort. But yes you are right, we should get out of here...How about we go somewhere the fox is least likely to track us if it tries to come back for us. Got any ideas on where we couls go? This is your territory after all." The Janus either didn't feel any would she had or ignored them. Either way she was more concerned about finding safety and helping out the she cat that most definitely saved her life.
Berrybloom nodded her head, thinking if a place she hoped her mother wouldn’t happen upon. Seablossom was a possessive cat when it came to her family and would absolutely, without question, keep her just locked up in camp all day every day if she could. This calico she-cat escaped whenever she could, seeking adventure and wonders, and never spoke a sole of the dangers she found herself in. They, Berrybloom knew she couldn’t go anywhere her mother frequented. “Well this place I know of, it’s…not exactly in my territory but it should work!” They would be crossing into WinterClan, barely, but enough that it was risky. Was that risk worth facing her mother all beat up and with another cat who could expose the adventure they’d just had? Yes, in her mind it always would be.
