Alright so I’ve got this idea that Skunkpaw gets made fun of for his name, cus skunks are smelly and stuff. Especially since the time the kits escaped and came across an actual skunk. So these cats can be teasing him (good natured or not), making fun of him or just giving him crap about his name and that it basically means smelly. Poor Skunkpaw will either run off into Viperstorm or the Warrior will come across the apprentices or something. Cats can also tease him for how adorably in live his parents are (Honeycream, Faithfulfeather and Ivorysnow) and just embarrass the tom apprentice. Skunkpaw really, really hated his name. Especially on days like this. The hunting patrol he was on didn’t do well, they came back with only a few bits of prey. An unlucky event, but the problem was they happened upon an area where a skunk had sprayed. The creature was already gone hit the smell was in the air and the patrol walked right in to it leading some of them smelling worse than others. Poor Skunkpaw was one fo the unfortunate ones. He’d been chasing a mouse that raced right into the smelly area. The only grace was he’d caught the prey but now as he deposited it on the prey pile, he had to walk past a group of cats.
Maskedknight wrinkled his nose as Skunkpaw walked past. "Ugh, what is that stink," He said curling his lip and gagging.
The young warrior shook his head, looking about and located the source. "Skunkpaw, I know your namesake tends to stink to high heaven, but why in StarClan's name do you smell?" He asked. "Please deal with it before you stink up the rest of camp."
Celestialpaw nudges Servalpaw, flicking her ears towards the source of the smell that invaded camp. "Oh jeeze," she murmurs. "Poor guy, he already gets made fun of for his name, now he smells like his namesake." she crinkles her nose and looks away, burying her nose into the male's fur. @ian
The apprentice was beyond embarrassed as it was, and now this. He'd walked into camp with a blush and a frown and hoped no one would say anything, but luck was not on his side. "I can't hep it! There was skunk just ask everyone else!" He was furious now, and embarrassed which is mostly where his anger was coming from. Just why would his parents think it a wise move to name him after such a smelly skunk and expect him to be proud about it.
