Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Had it already been that long since Pumpkinspice was promoted from an apprentice? Glancing around the nursery, the she-cat could vividly remember the same thing happening a year ago. Just when she had been promoted to nursery aid, there had been a sudden influx of kits that were found in Hystericstar's den. Now, the same thing happened again, and she still couldn't escape them. She had wanted to be a warrior, so she could wander in search of delicious things to eat! It was difficult to do when she was trapped with so many kits.
There was one thing that was different than last time, however. Her swollen belly grumbled, and she glanced around. Surely she could escape the nursery to find a bite to eat, right? Rocks were no longer agreeing with her sensitive stomach, but there had to be something that did. Sticks, or maybe some type of leaf or flower? First thing first, she had to get out. After making sure that no one was keeping an eye on her, she did her best to appear casual as she jogged towards the exit of the den, too eager to keep a leisurely pace.
Lavenderbreeze glances at Pumpkinspice, confused as to where the she-cat was going. She decides to follow her, making little to no sound as she watches where the cat would go next. Once she made her way out, Lavenderbreeze waits for a moment to gently confront. "Pumpkinspice," she asks, "what are you doing? we need you back in the nursery."
The moment that Pumpkinspice's front paws hit the outside world, she put all of her energy into making a dash, nearly tripping over her own paws in the first few steps. That stumble, however, cost her a very precious moment, and the sound of her name met her ears. Cold washed over the queen as she turned to face Lavenderbreeze, a large and guilty smile on her face. "I, uh, needed air!" she said, going with the first excuse that sounded plausible.
