Joykit dashed into the nursery "HEY!!!" she chirped excitedly, haven gotten permission to leave her mother's den and come down here to play for a little while "Anyone want to come play hide and go seek with me?" she asked, trying to find one of the other kits to play with her since all of her siblings were sound asleep with her mother "I have a new hiding spot that I want to try out!" uniqcrim

Her ears perked up at the sound of a new hiding spot. She loved new hiding spots. "I'll come!" The little tortoishell she-kit announced with excitement. She bounded over to Joykit and skidded to a halt. "Where are we going? We gotta keep it a secret from my mama," a giggle escaped her as she glanced over at the sleeping figure.

"Well I was going to say that you should find me, but I think hiding from out parents sound like an even better idea!" after all if they could fool the warriors it would make them even more prepared to become apprentice "I'll share my secret hiding spot with you, but you have to promise... NO... DOUBLE PROMISE... That you won't tell anyone. I spent a long time trying to find this secret spot"

"Double promise!" The offer was too tempting and far too exciting. Myabe it would be a good enough spot that she could go to anytime mama tried to boss her around or her brother woke up and chose to be annoying that day. "We could make it a secret meeting spot!" Her voice was a hushed whisper and excitement pumped through her.

Joykit nodded eagerly up and down as quickly as her little head would go "That sounds perfect!", the little kit looked around before deciding that none of the other adults were paying any attention to the two of them "Alright follow me!!!" The little she-cat darted off, slipping into the painted tunnel where the clan's paints were stored. Because everything smelled so strongly of paint it would help disguise their scents, and she had found a place to get out of sight. She moved towards the back, and moved a rock to reveals a small side tunnel. Far to little for even an apprentice, but for the two kits it was the perfect little get away "In here!"

The small kit followed with only a little difficulty but managed to keep up, just barely. She was winded and out of breath when they arrived but still excited. "Wow!" She exclaimed with a squeal, diving into the tunnel with far less reserve than she should have and moving out of the way for Joykit. "You better hurry up before they see us." She giggled.

Joykit, scrambled into the tunnel after the other kit. While the entrance was cramped, it open up a little on the inside to give the two of them plenty of room. "I don't think the adults are ever going to find us in here. Lets see how long we can hide from them!" she purred. After the stunt her brother pulled before this was rather unfair to do to her mother, but the little kit thought it was all in good fun "What should we do as we wait?"

"We should've brought some paint or something to decorate. This place could look so cool if we did. Maybe we could sneak out and see how many times we can go back and forth without getting caught!" She giggled at the thought. Warriors could be so stupid sometimes and stuck up just because they were older and thought they knew everything. These kits would show them!

"Thats sounds like a wonderful idea! I'll go first" the little kit stalked up to the entrance, listening for the sound of footsteps and voices before she darted out and grabbed one of the little leaves of paint and dragged it back into their little hideaway. It was a bright blue, a color that usually only the soothsayers wore "I know!! Paint an eye on me, and Ill be a soothsayer and you can be the high priestess!!!"

The little kit giggled again and nodded, dipping her paw pad in the paint. She drew a crude eye on the she-cat in the bright blue and stood stoic and proud, "I name you Joykit, Soothsayer of Sunclan," She said in a serious tone, losing her composure at the end and it turned into a laugh.

"Oh to do you, your going to have to go get the paint!!" she tried to remember the colors her mom used "We need some red, orange, yellow, and black. Its your turn this time! I think I can paint the flame that momma wears" she sat down with her chest puffed out. She had completed her mission, and now it was time for her friend to do her job

Lunarkit gave her a determined nod and slunk out of the den, careful not to get caught by the older cats. She managed to snag a bit of each color and slink back to their hiding spot.

"Perfect!!!" She declared dipping her paw into the paint, and drawing it upon the other kit's forehead. It was sloppy but looked sort of like a flame "As the SUnClan soothsayer I name theee Lunarstar, high priestess!!!" she was cut off as the sound of loud footsteps could be heard coming down the tunnel. She flashed her a companion a quick 'be quiet' look, crouching down, even though it really did nothing to help them hide more efectively

The grey she-kits eyes became wide and she crouched low as instructed. Uh-oh. They must have been too loud. Who was it that came to get them in trouble?

Joykit waited, listening as the adults talked but they seemed not to take any notice of the kits being in there. They grabbed some paints, before turning around and leaving "That was a close one! See this hiding spot is perfect. They are never going to find us in here!!!" she was chittering excidely "The Sun God fortells it" she declared playing off her new soothsayer roll "No one will find us until nightfall"

"The Sun God fortells it." She echoed with confidence, holding her head up ridiculously high and practically prancing around wherever she stepped and giggled. "I order, as the High priestess, for everyone to eat until they're fat and run a race!" She lost herself in a fit of giggles, it was fun to pretend to be the high priestess and to do whatever she wanted.

"Oh there is a problem Lunarstar, to make my predicitions as a Soothsayer I need animal bones!!!" It was common knowledge that to tell fortunes, the Soothsayer would say some words over some prey bones, cast them, then read the results "To be a real soothsayer anyway" she thought about how to get animal bones into here "What if we sneak out a steal a mouse to bring in here?"

"Only the best prey will do for Sunclan's greatest soothsayer ever, we shall bring the finest bones back," She deepened her voice and drew out her words, Only Only be lost in another high pitched giggle. "Come on! We're kits so they won't question us taking a piece of prey to eat together." It was exciting to keep everything from the warriors and other members of sunclan.

That certainly was a problem.... her eyes lit up "How fast do you think I can run? I bet I could get over there and back without getting caught!" It was risky but even if they got caught, what really was going to happen? They were only kits after all.
