Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The second round of Fight Nights! Character stats can be viewed on this thread. Each character may get an Advantage (adds +1 to that roll) or Disadvantage (-1 on that roll) on certain rolls, based on their stats. All Staff get 50 HP and use a D10 die for all rolls. All Warriors get 40 HP and will use a D8 for all rolls. All Apprentices have 25 HP and will roll with a D6. A coin flip will determine who rolls first. Every first roll will be for attacks; the dice decide how many points of damage are dealt (those with an Advantage or Disadvantage in Defense will take +1 or -1 point of damage respectively). The other person may then roll for a dodge (if the dodge roll is higher than the attack, after all advantages/disadvantages are applied, it is considered successful). If a dodge fails, they will take half the damage from the attack roll. First to hit 0 HPLOSES.
Larkspur (seeker ) | 50 HP | +1 Advantage to Dodge Rolls | -1 Disadvantage to Attack Rolls | Heads Darkmeadow (@ian ) | 40 HP | +1 Advantage to Attack Rolls | -1 Disadvantage to Dodge Rolls | Tails
Coin flip result: Tails. Darkmeadow rolls first!
With the conclusion of the first round, Phantomfox was now freed to oversee the next: Darkmeadow, who he'd grappled with before, and Larkspur, the clan's deputy and a previous member of his guard. The pair of she-cats faced one another in the clearing below, in perfect view of where he sat atop Aspenstar's Highstone, once his own. "You may begin," he announced over the clamor of their audience.
attack roll : 8, +1 for advantage to attack rolls, total score +9
This was the moment that she had been waiting for. Finally, a chance to make the other feel the way she did. The look in her eye was frankly terrifying as she stood across from the deputy. The fire in her gaze was hungry, hungry for revenge, hungry for blood. Matching the two together would prove to be a fatal mistake. After all, a broken heart makes one do unexpected things...
With little warning, the she-cat sent herself forward. Her first attack was quick and hard, her paw slamming against the skull of the deputy. It was meant to daze and confuse if it landed, but Darkmeadow fought with her claws, so if she succeeded in her attack, the deputy's face would soon be dripping in blood. "You'll look just as pretty as me by the time we're done with this," she hissed, her own battle-blinded eye glinting. "Serves you right, what you've done."
dodge roll : 7, +1 advantage to dodge rolls, total score, +8
Larkspur wasn't prepared for the she-cat's abrupt burst forward. "What the hell did I do?" she hisses, her head spinning. The she-cat darts away before the other can wack her over the head again, before claws can sink evenly into skin. She hops about four steps back, watching for Darkmeadow's next move. She knew eventually she's have to attack as well, but for now, she wanted to see where this would go. Or to get the stars to settle in her head.
Darkmeadow let out a laugh, although her attack wasn't as strong as she would have expected. "What did you do?" she hissed, her front paw lashing out towards Larkspur's skull "What did you do? You replaced her and you don't even care. Off to live in whatever god damn fantasy this clan is obsessed with keeping up."
