Isolda dropped her prey on the pile, then gave a light sigh, tracing a paw across the ground to draw attention to herself. Always wanting to be the center of attention, the one everyone looked at, even now. Her false accent was well placed, and most probably had no idea what her real one was at this point. “I’m bored.” She complained to no one in particular, waiting for someone to take the bait and
"A soldier is never bored," Scout Superior Havilah's harsh voice echoed expertly in this particular tunnel as he approached Isolda. He looked like he'd been in a fight recently what with the various scratches along his left flank and shoulder, which only made him more intimidating and grumpy, "Come with me, Cadet. I have a job for you."

"Not a Cadet." Isolda quipped back with a slight pout, though she weaved her way in front of the tom. "Perhaps we stop with the work for the day hmm? I can think of better things to do with our time." Her tail traced up his foreleg and the side of his neck, along his chin. Certainly, the she-cat was playing a dangerous game.
Whatever Isolda was selling, Havilah was nothing buying.
"Could have fooled me," He replied gruffly, "You sure are acting like a Cadet. When I was one there used to be such a thing as respect and honor in serving the Regime, but now the group is filled with nothing but hare-brains who think the world should be handed to them without putting the effort in to earn it. What have you done in the past 24 hours that really, truly served the Regime? And I'm not talking about the things you were commanded to do, but the things you chose to do, on your own time, with no one watching."

"I'm spending time with you. And I think that counts as public service, considering how now one likes you." Isolda purred the words that were so mean to the tom. Did she have a problem riling him up? Nope, not in the slightest.
Havilah answered that smug look on Isolda's face with a hard smack against her left cheek, strong enough to knock a cat over which was very much his intention. He was sick of the lack of respect that ran rife in the Regime and had concluded that the only way to remedy it was through force.
"I am a Superior. I don't care if anyone likes me, but I demand respect. Apologize."

"Why should I, when I'm speaking the truth?" A smile played at her lips, clearly having no intention of listening to the Superior, though her expression grew venomous with the smack. "If you have a problem with it, you're free to beg for an apology. But somehow, I highly doubt you'll do that."
Havilah growled a rumbling sort of growl, it was sort of reminiscent of thunder and the air around them shifted just enough to that sort of charged sensation that cane before a storm. He hadn't meant to activate his element and certainly had no intentions of using it on this disobedient underling, but it was hard to control sometimes.
He unsheathed and resheathed his claws into the dirt floor for a few tense seconds before quietly saying in one breath, "After I speak with Commander Shule, I'll have you enrolled in bootcamp. Maybe then you'll learn respect."

"And what will the Regime do when half of it's in bootcamp? Starve again?" Isolda answered with a smirk, her thick accent fading away slightly as she taunted Havilah. It was too easy. She didn't seem to notice the problem of the element at this moment, nor how dangerously close she was getting to actually ending up hurt.
"What do you think bootcamp is?" Havilah asked, his fire was dying down slightly as he'd decided he was done entertaining this cat's attitude. It would get fixed later, "You will do all your usual tasks during the day and train during night. Just because you'd receiving additional training doesn't mean your daily job will go undone."
"Maybe you should get sent to bootcamp. You certainly have enough of an attitude problem" Isolda waved the tom dismissively, her tail purposefully smacking Havilah in the face as she did so. Apparently she really loved poking the bear.
"I've been to bootcamp. I do the exercises every morning," Havilah said simply, there was still an edge to his voice but he was remarkably emotionless.
When her tail hit his face, Havilah bite down on it with the speed of a viper and pulled down, HARD, his goal being to level Isolda to the ground.
