Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
It's a rather odd situation. While Hystericstar has trained many of FallClan's recent medicine cats and apprentices, they've never truly been without a medicine cat. Now, he was beginning to take over the role once more, as well as his leadership tasks and duties. Needless to say, he was busy. Still, it wasn't a bad way to spend his time, as even if he wasn't stepping into the role, he would still be in his den with herbs. It wasn't like the tom got much sleep anyway.
The oddness of it more came from the two apprentices living in the medicine cat den. Weaselpaw had barely even begun his training before Chestnutheart had vanished - and, as he recently learned, passed - and Hystericstar hadn't had too much time to spend on the apprentice's training. It was still getting done, but at a much slower pace than the leader would have liked. And now, there was Spiralpaw. A second apprentice chosen by StarClan. As Hystericstar stepped into the den, it was the fluffy form that his eyes caught first. Really, he didn't understand her that much.

Weaselpaw picked up his head from the pile of herbs he had started putting together. In his time alone he had become used to the solitude, and with it the freedom to do what he liked with the den and his herbs. Spiralpaw wasn't in his plans really, not that he had any, but the extra paws on board wouldn't ever hurt. He turned towards the entrance as the shadow of the other tom stretched to block any light that was coming in, the apprentice's eyes adjusting accordingly. "Hystericstar," he mewed quietly in greeting, dipping his head.

Spiralpaw beamed up at the leader, a bit of berry juice still in her teeth. "Good tidings, Hystericstar." She purred sweetly and came to stand by Weaselpaw. "Whatcha like today?"
No, he really didn't understand her, Hystericstar decided as the two apprentices greeting him. He eyed up the residue of berries still on Spiralpaw's mouth, hoping that it wasn't anything that she found in their herb storage. She wouldn't be that stupid, would she? Throwing the thought out of his head, he gave a nod of greeting to Weaselpaw, then turned once more to the newer apprentice.
"Have you settled in alright?" he asked, his tone lacking any sort of curiosity to show that he actually cared about the answer. Though the question had been directly pointed to Spiralpaw, his gaze swept over Weaselpaw, allowing a dual meaning. Has he grown used to a new body in the den?

"Mmmm, yes I think so!" Spiralpaw responded with a little dip of her head. "I wish there was more sweet food. Herbs are pretty bitter, you know. However, I think I'm learning very quickly! I'm going to be the best medicine cat there is. Well, other than Weaselpaw of course." She gave a wink to the other tom in the den.

Weaselpaw stayed quiet, simply nodding in response. He was a calm reflection of Spiralpaw and her chipper attitude. The dark furred tom couldnt find a way to respond to either of them, the questions, the wink- it was bizarre. He had settled in well yet once again it seemed like he was out of place. He pushed it aside. "Whats your plans for today?" he asked, directing attention back to the hairless leader.
