Brilliance felt so much better after visiting her sister and mother. And in a way, so much more lonely. Honestly, now more than ever, she wondered about whether she wanted to stay in the Regime. It hadn’t been her intention to do so, but here she was. Littlestar had asked if she was happy, and she’d stated she was free, not that she’d necessarily call it happiness. The siamese stood by that statement as she went for a run in the early morning. Most certainly, even with family, the thought of returning to SunClan made her uncomfortable. Whatever had been there, Bloodycrow had tainted. SwiftClan was an option, but it felt foreign. She could have the comfort she’d carved out here, or the family she missed somewhere else.
