Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. "Your a ghost not an elder. At least refer to yourself correctly" Desertwind didn't wait to see what the cat would do next as he exited the den impatiently "Today you are my test subject"
"Still older than you, and more handsome to boot, even dead. That just makes you seem sad." Vulcan answered, though he did get up. "And considering you couldn't even figure out you couldn't touch me, I don't think you're going to have any very interesting 'tests'."
Vulcan didn't move as the paint passed through him, splashing the ground instead of him. "You really don't understand ghosts do you? And this is why my granddaughter an infinitely better scientist than you could ever be. Because apparently you don't have a brain in that head of yours."

"Interesting" he replied, watching as the paint fell through him "I wasn't testing to see if the paint would stick to you" he snorted, but didn't carify exactly what he was testing for. He moved forward and gave a puff of air directly into Vulcan's face
Vulcan pinched his nose with his claws. "Are you testing my patience?" He asked, looking a bit annoyed. "Because if so, then this is working fabulously."

"Not quite" he mused, but clearly had not gotten the direction that he had been hoping for "I was actually testing to see if your form would reatain any of the automatic reflexes that it had while you were alive. A cat's natural reaction to paint being thrown down at them is to move out of the way, or at the very least to flinch. A cat's natural reaction to a puff of air is to close their eyes to protect them, even if there is no danger. Its an automatic reflex that all cats experience, but you lack"
"Yes, I've been a ghost for a long time at this point. I'd be more shocked if something actually DID affect me." Vulcan deadpanned, standing up and walking away from the tom, already bored. "I swear, every generation loses their mind more and more. Is this my fault? Nah, I'm blaming Chim."
"I feel like I'm going to if you don't leave me alone. Why are you so interested in me anyhow? Chim usually wants nothing to do with me. It's so much less fun when I'm being annoyed, and not the annoying one." Vulcan sighed. "By that logic, I shouldn't even be breathing, but here I am, taking breaths out of reflex. SO figure it out yourself."

"Thats exactly what I intend to do. I have been searching for answer, and you may just be the key" he asked with a swishing tail "now if you would just cooperate..."
"You couldn't have asked me any other time than now? What, spooked I might jump out at you or something?" Vulcan noted sarcastically. "If you can't handle it, then go away."

"Don't be preposterous" Desertwind shook his head from one side to the other with distaste "I'm not afraid of you, or I wouldn't be standing here running experiments"
"And yet, not one of your experiments was anything you couldn't have just asked me about thus far, instead of wasting time going through all this effort for nothing." Vulcan rolled his eyes.
"I think you're just making up new things to try and claim your point is valid. I saw Thunderstorm work, and she full on had a laboratory, as she called it. Raising mice for her experiments, honestly, made my head spin. Don't know how she did it, but I do know you're not half the cat she was." Of course, this was probably just Vulcan wanting to brag about his own family, since he self-admittedly had no idea what she was doing, just taht it looked fancy.
