The rogue hunting grounds just off the cusp of SwiftClan were said to be filled to the brim with exotic prey unlike anything the clans had seen before. Particularly parrots, an incredibly colorful bird, some even being quite large in size. This is what made the paths of Badgerbee, Indigochill, Shark, and Swiftscout cross paths. Only Badgerbee and Swiftscout were SwiftClan cats while Shark and Indigochill were not… But the hunting grounds aren’t exactly on SwiftClan’s territory, which technically means it’s free for anyone to take right? That’s the conversation to discuss as the four cats happen to cross paths in the clearing.

The self-proclaimed introvert felt free to walk the neutral grounds as if it were WinterClan territory itself, their shared attitude radiated off them as if the land they just so happen to allow others walk on and that rather warm for the fluffiest and thick-furred cats who grew up accustomed to the freezing temperatures.
With Indigochill being rather distance from his own clanmates and having his own world of hobbies, skill-experimenting, and sight-seeing - checking out these exotic birds just felt like the next chapter in the lengthy novel of his. Were they even real? What did they taste like? Would they go good with fermented berries? and how beautiful could their splash of colorful feathers be in his nest. Or even if he tired of them easily, what an array of inspiration and curiosity it would invoke among the students and kits. Kits. A thought crossed his mind before deciding he shouldn't think of it and let the thoughts at the back of his head be drowned out by the squawking and caws of something majestic as he approached their nesting grounds.
What Indigochill, and whoever else showed up, would see when he entered the clearing was a ring of parrots surrounding a boulder, upon which sat a...much larger parrot? No...on closer inspection, it was actually something that may have resembled a cat, but draped across her back was a robe devised of the birds' incredible feathers, and they were somehow cinched at her neck by a stunning oral gemstone, her paw curled around a scepter sculpted out of deep cherrywood and birch, and two large leaves were tied around her face to resemble a beak. "WHO DARES ENTER?" The parrot-cat-queen demanded to know, her voice a deep, resonant nothingness that filled the entire clearing effortlessly.

Indigochill was initially caught up in just the sightseeing of the birds he completely glanced over the big one sitting on the boulder giving the constant squawking and movement of flashing colors he wasn't used to all around him. Seriously, - while he would never admit it out loud - the white and greys that mostly blanketed WinterClan inevitable paled in the liveliness this place had. It wasn't until the voice snapped him out of it, even earning a jump of fright out of him as he stopped and crouched low defensively. He had no idea what ot make out of the thing in front of him.
"Is that.. an ugly peacock?" he mumbled not even considering what the voice had just previously said as he processed the never-before-seen imagery.
(ah yes is the scout thats swift? i think i might of heard of her - speedyinformant? thats her name right?)
SPEEDYINFORMANT LMAOOOOO that's her alias now thanks
It tilted its head but the action was disjointed, like a marionette pulled by its strings. "How DARE YOU!"
The creature flung the cape behind it and then pointed the scepter at the WinterClan warrior, the flock of prismatic birds turning as one and honing in on Indigochill. "KILL HIM." It commanded in that same encompassing boom. The parrots rose into the air and launched themselves at the tom.

( oh good that was her name, my next guess i mean nickname was sonicinvestigator)
Indigochill raised a doubtful brow this... thing could have any command over this avian species and questioned more on how it knew cat language and not just some squawk-ity squawk squawk bird languagewas that speciesist of him to think?
"Hey buddy," he started to address the creature. He wrongly assumed this thing just scared the birds away and he was probably gonna have wait a while for them to calm down and come back - WRONG, HE WAS VERY WRONG. The tom's long-haired fur fluffed up and his eyes got big and wide when the rainbow of feathers started to actually come at him and he quickly turned to make a ran for it.
(I'll try to wait a little longer than 3days this time to give the others a chance to catch up)
Badgerbee had been sent to fetch Swiftscout so he’d followed the scent of the other SwiftClan cat and happened upon an….interesting scene. Did he interrupt? Was it wise to do so or could he get away with going home without ever collecting Swiftscout? He stood there for a moment just watching the chaos happening. Besides following his fellow SwiftClan cat’s scent he’d heard rumor of these strange birds near by and was sure a cat like Swiftscout would go to check them out. And sure enough, he was right. Though he couldnt say he wasn’t curious about them as well. Sparing another glance just as the WinterClan cat began to speak, Badgerbee though, maybe he should just leave before he was noticed.

(whoops i waited longer than i meant to)
Wide-eyed and on full alert this time, Indigochill bolted the few tail-lengths back required to get a safe distance. A sharp turn and sudden forceful leap took him to the top of a fallen log, he darted along it before stopping and daring to look back at the 'thing' and the flurry of parrots. He was lucky a few of them ended up cutting each other off trying to follow them, throwing each other off, one of them looking ready to throw feathers with another over it and others swooping on to u-turn right back at him. He used his time immediately to glance around his surroundings this time for a resourceful assessment on what could be useful to him or just a way out or two if things got ugly. That's when he noticed the cat who there watching this madness.
"Hey you! Take out that turkey thing. I'll-" damn, already they were coming back "I'll distract these things." he was just gonna have bite the bullet on this one and wasn't sure if that as going to call for a retreat. After all, would killing the commanding alpha bird just piss off the rest of the parrots even more or get them to back off? He had no idea, he just came here to see some birds preferable not this up close.
