Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
DayClan is littered with stinging nettle during this time, a sought after herb for its multi-purpose abilities. Because of DayClan’s neutral territory it’s an easy place to walk in and sneakily “borrow” just a few herbs from them or at the very least scope out of there is stinging nettle and alert their medicine cats. However it’s all fun in games for Earthquake, Sunpetal, and Loelia hovering by the stinging nettle until a fellow DayClan cat, Sweetwheat comes by.
Loelia carefully moved through DayClan's territory, careful to move far from any large group gatherings. This wasn't really stealing... Okay it was, but like, it was just a plant that DayClan had an abundance of!
Visually, it was clear Loelia wasn't an ordinary cat and certainly wouldn't be living up to her mothers reputation of being a spy. There were no ordinary qualities about herself. She had patchy, coarse black fur with dry flaky skin. Her eyes were violet, a sign that there were complications early in life with her eyes. But more noticeably was the fact that she couldn't stand on her own four legs without help. There were pieces of tree bark bracing her legs into a straight position with vines strapped to the bottom of her back paws and fastened to the front paws so her legs would move like a marionette.
Approaching a large area of stinging nettle she glanced both ways before carefully pulling at it. The hard part was just taking a little, the nettle seemed to stick together making it hard to pull out delicately. Instead the herb seemed to require some brute forced to extract. Quickly she began to claws at the stinging nettle to unearth it while carefully looking over her should every five seconds to see if anyone had spotted her or was approaching.
This was a Very Important Assignment, and Sunpetal was treating it as such. Her cream-and-coffee fur was preened to absolute perfection, billowing around her in a majestic mane of fluff that made her look twice her true size, and she was sporting one of Summerclan's famous flower crowns. Today's feature were four grand blue zinnia flowers, each one arranged in a cardinal direction, and those were surrounded by orange and coral snapdragons and beautiful macaw feathers, which were woven through star ivy vines. It was a very conspicuous garb for someone sneaking into another territory.
Well, not exactly sneaking, more like casually strolling. Sunpetal's head and tail were high, petals bobbed and bounced on her head, and she was humming a cheerful tune as she advanced. She fully intended on marching right up to Glowstar as Ratstar's ambassador (although her Papi was completely unaware of her being here to begin with) and demanding DayClan and SummerClan work out a trade agreement: DayClan's stinging nettle for some of SummerClan's valuable aloe vera. Of course, she didn't bring any with her. What if Glowstar denied it? Then she'd have carried all that for nothing!
She never even made it close to camp. Something ahead of her caught her attention, and rather than bracing herself, Sunpetal practically bounded over to the stranger, though she stopped at a distance when she noticed Loelia's leg braces. Okay...this chick seemed weird. Time to skedaddle. She turned and started to walk back the way she came, pretending to never have noticed Loelia.
