Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(This is the biggest FAF friend pairing, but there were a lot of entries, then I saw how many PI and NC apprentices there were and in order to combine all friends and not miss out on the fun PI & NC apprentice opportunity I figured we could have a one big rp! If that's not your style though there's plenty of other small friend group rps your other characters have also been paired in!)
PROMPT :
While the league trainees were out on a walk together a thick fog surrounded the group. After much walking the fog begins to clear with hopefully a clearer passage back to their camp. That is until a group of NightClan apprentices find them just barely over NightClan’s territory. Will the trainees be able to talk it out with the apprentices or will fighting ensue? They might not be able to chat long, as rain begins to fall hard, it won’t be long before a flash flood emerges, possibly swiping up the trainees and apprentices in it. Will it be an all out war of night vs the league or will they learn to be friends and find cover?
Violetpaw felt naked, walking through his territory without his family at his side. It was unusual these days that he didn't go out with someone he knew, but his siblings were nowhere to be found and Rabbitpaw had been placed on a different patrol. He stepped quietly through the group as they headed for the border, keeping one eye on the cats around him. He had seen Moonpaw before, but they had never really spoken, and he could not even remember the name of one of the apprentices (Chasingpaw).
"So," he began awkwardly, but as he took a deep breath to go on, he scented something else on the wind. Someone else? Violetpaw stopped. "Do you guys smell that?"

Trotting next to Violetpaw, Moonpaw was curious, his eyes bright as he followed the others on the patrol. He hadn't spoken to Violetpaw before but they had met once, if he could remember exactly when it was...
At the other cat's query, he looked up. He hadn't noticed it at all, but now that he really breathed it all in, there was a different scent. He didn't know why it smelled kind of familiar, but it was different from the usual smell of NightClan and all of the other cats. There was a strangeness about it, as if the scent was trying to jog his memory....
"Yeah, weird," he frowned, "do you think it might be something serious?"

The werewolf-look-a-like she-cat was all for a little adventure but this walk was starting to feel endless and more importantly she was picking up on the scent of rain, a lot of it looming in the air ready to drop on them any second. It made her nervous and a little uneasy on what was otherwise a rather exciting and mysterious little outing. An intense wind blew, not in their favor, making her stiffen and dig her claw into the earth for a second before it eased up; this wind was picking up as well.
"Do you think we're still a little far from camp?" the trainee spoke up glancing at the fog enveloped all around them. "I just feel like my fur is getting heavier and heavier..." she alluded to increased humidity and the weather activity as it picked, unable to focus on the fact the PI scent had long lingered away and the ground had another clan's scent markings all over it. Being just partially hairless with no true undercoat inclided her to want to heed her mother's warnings
Foxpaw was probably the last cat you wanted with you if you potentially smelled an intruder. After all, it was pretty clear that the tom was barely even let out of camp without the watchful eye of one of his parents or the NightClan leader. The scraggly little tom, whose nose perpetually ran, was about to be mostly of no use.
"Quiet, there's a voice!" the tom meowed excitedly, his paws tapping. "Does that mean someone's come to visit us?" A normal cat would probably feel some ... trepidation at the very least, but Foxpaw looked thrilled at the very idea he was going to meet a total stranger.
Rami-kun paused in his grooming of his fur - it was starting to fluff up, and he couldn't have that - to look at Alula-Nova-kun. "Tell me about it," he muttered. "I'm going to be more fluff than cat pretty soon if this keeps up." It was a difficult task to walk and try to control his fur, but he was somehow managing it. However, the distraction meant that he wasn't paying as much attention to where they were going - or, for that matter, where they currently were.
Darion-kun frowned, glancing up at the sky. It was difficult to see if the sky was darkening, as the thickening fog provided it plenty of cover. It may have just been his imagination, but it certainly seemed like the clouds were darker than normal. The white tom gave a small shrug, before turning his attention back to his actual surroundings. They definitely weren't in Primal Instinct territory anymore, but he couldn't quite place where they were. He was in training for External Affairs, but this scent wasn't one that he recognized right away. It didn't take long for unknown voices to reach his ears, and he paused in his tracks, turning his narrowed blue eyes to his fellow trainees, a silent warning to be quiet.

"You have enough fur for the both of us - if the weather turns you'll be my rain buddy." she mused with no other context to further her implication of using the other cat as umbrella and ambiguous as to how much she was joking about it.
She straighten up and took notice of Darion-kun's glance and went silent taking on a more serious look and caution graced her eyes very carefully to show alertness but keep her composure. It was possible they already caught someone or something's attention and they were sitting ducks in this fog.
