Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Of course she had to detour to the Regime while she was by DayClan. Senescence would get back to WinterClan, and Alvah would probably cover for her, but that didn't mean she wouldn't take advantage of the brief moment of freedom she had. After all, prisoner or not, the ex-Proxy moved on her own time.
Shule had already given her a pass to show up whenever... of course, that didn't give her a pass to bring whoever she wanted. Did Sen care though? Of course not. She'd invited Innocentia to join, though of course, her wife didn't have to do so. Glowstar probably would have been happier for Wanderingwight bringing her along, however.
Innocentia kept to Senescence's side like a yappy little dog nuzzling close to its master. She chewed on a pink piece of flesh she had picked up from a sorry pathetic wanderer a few miles back with an obnoxious munching noise that would annoy anyone. Luckily Senescence was rather tall and the sound didn't exactly hit her ears the same way it would for anyone else.
Smacking her pink flesh in her mouth she licked up the loose bits by her muzzle before gazing up at Senescence with bright yellow moon eyes, "What are we in these dirty tunnels for, Sen-pai?" She asked in her usual, Ain't-I-Adorable? tone.
"Been a bit too long since I annoyed Shule and Sean. I'm thinking they've gotten to comfortable in their peace and quiet." Senescence answered easily. "I'm bored, so why not see what kind of trouble we can cause my aunt and uncle while we're here?" They would probably tolerate it easy enough. Well, Sean would, Shule might try to rip off Sen's head if the ex-Proxy annoyed her enough.
"Ohh, cool," Innocentia said in her best optimistically uncertain tone.
Before more could be said another set of paw steps began to approach from behind them as Rottenfang made his way towards them, but paused when he recognized who they were by stature alone.
"Don't worry your lil head, dirty kitty. I wouldn't eat someone as scrawny as yourself," Innocentia reassured sweetly. "Where are your... Parents at? I'm-I don't know the family tree if I'm being honest, I just married into this family."
"I just recognize you as Howlingnight's family and want little to do with monsters who call my family demons when we come from the same blood," Rottenfang said evenly, but forced his way through the two once he got his nerves in order. He had done scarier before, if he could turn his backs on them and remain unscathed he would, in a way, be able to finally loosen the hold of the instinctive fears Howlingnight had put onto him and his siblings.

"Our nephew." Senescence answered Innocentia's confusion easily. At some point, in this family, you ended up just needing to keep track. Someone had to, at least, or there would be even more problems and confusion. If the ex-Proxy were a human, she'd have her hands in her pockets, just watching Rottenfang casually, unperturbed by his outburst. "All our family are demons Rottenfang, at least, all those born to Glowstar, including myself and extending to Howlingnight, no matter how much he and Wintrystar may choose to deny it. That's not unique to your mother or siblings, and certainly not something that ever needed to be fixed." Of course, that probably didn't help if he wanted to separate himself from the idea of demon entirely. "As for my son, if I hear anything about him or Wintrystar causing you any problems, I'll deal with them." There was something darker about the way Wanderingwight spoke her final four words, indicating that this might be more than a simple stern talking to. And if he looked at her now, as she very slightly tilted her head, for just a brief flash of a moment, her eyes seemed to glaze over in a heated copper color.
And then it was gone, and her serious expression faded back into boredom.
"I can see the resemblance you and Howl have," Rottenfang commented, biting the inside of his mouth as he spoke before releasing just as the red faded from her eyes, "But I already lost everything from them... Even Huntleigh. But I guess it makes sense that we're all demons, only a vile person could hurt my family like they had. And only another demon could raise a son so poorly to turn them into an abuser. I suppose Wintrystar was right that demons shouldn't have kits."
Innocentia's yellow eyes rounded at Rottenfang's comment, "That's what your mom was told too. I guess they're not all wrong, you Eerie's must have upset the world for the unlucky and cruel ways life strikes you and the rest of your family down by fate," She said thoughtfully, "Don't worry though, I'll give you safe," She said patting Senescence's paw reassuringly as though the powerful ex proxy needed that comfort.

Sen regarded Rottenfang. "Even the best of parents can raise the worst of cats. Not that I'd ever claim to be the best, not by far. Take care to remember though, you're far from the first or last Eerie who had a childhood rife with pain and suffering. Almost everyone with the Eerie name has a story to tell. You'd be lucky to find a true innocent among us, though Yuccablossom might be close." She smiled at Innocentia, almost chuckling a bit at her insistence on keeping the much, much larger cat safe. "At this point, if I found out our family had been cursed by some kind of god, that would be the least horrific of the things we've ever endured. Remind me bring home a god for your dinner one of these days, if I get the chance."
